  1. Friday I was in joliet at the cn yard hauling on site and dodging container drivers. Monday I think I'm on ashpalt and Tuesday the dupage airport.then rain the rest of the week lol

No that wasn't me that was #1 his truck was down pinion seal was out he hates driving my RD but he's got seniority so I get either drive the 6 wheeler which I don't mind or sit home he don't like driving the 6 wheeler either so I got to sit home we don't have hardly any work.he bitches quit a bit he d bitch if he was hung with a new rope.he don't like pulling the axle trailer either.but when your senior driving and can squeeze under the desk you work in the slow times LOL.

  9. I drive a 90 RD690 with a 300 and 7 speed hook it to the lowboy when the lowboy truck is down move a jd200 at over 85 k it ain't fast but gets it done

  13. And the dealers had the old school brochures on all the trucks and spec sheets and the parts guys knew the trucks they knew the mack parts numbers like there ph number
  14. Remember when you could get those papers at the dealer with the quick specs on them guess I'm just old andstuck in the past with the trucks that worked lol

  17. Had new windshields up in the 90 RD690 2 years ago it had the original s and they were pitted had them resales twice and in heavy rains the passenger side still leaks
  18. We had an 85 U-model my boss thought would be great. Had a straight 5-speed. Off road loaded heavy, I was screwed many times. Good road truck though pulling the tag with a combination on it or the Vermeer trencher when we did Ameritech work running all over northern Illinois.
