    And the dealers had the old school brochures on all the trucks and spec sheets and the parts guys knew the trucks they knew the mack parts numbers like there ph number

    Remember when you could get those papers at the dealer with the quick specs on them guess I'm just old andstuck in the past with the trucks that worked lol

    Had new windshields up in the 90 RD690 2 years ago it had the original s and they were pitted had them resales twice and in heavy rains the passenger side still leaks

    We had an 85 U-model my boss thought would be great. Had a straight 5-speed. Off road loaded heavy, I was screwed many times. Good road truck though pulling the tag with a combination on it or the Vermeer trencher when we did Ameritech work running all over northern Illinois.

    Yea it was it was nice man it was COLD that day we went and looked at it.didn't let them know we were comming out there they tried for an hour to get it going no luck wished I had a pic of it

    Looks like it mack in joliet has one but it just turns no definite low high speed detent system maybe it's just me I ll take it out and go from there thanks guys

    Does anyone know the part number or have a picture of the wiper switch it has an intermittent setting plus 2 settings regular and fast .haven't taken it out yet got one at m and k in joliet the metal control box and plug are huge and the know turns easy with no noticeable regular and fast notch I have high and low but the intermittent works intermittent did I just say that lol it works in intermittent then stops no I haven't been drinking. New one looks like it won't fit.any ideas

    I liked them back in 78 I went to.ottawa to look at one at the truck dealers on 80 and rt 71 it had a 420 Cummins with an air shift 4×4 it was nice

    Yea that's what I thought noticed a little blow by at the dipstick tube probably getting a little sick internally 370ooo miles on her .don't know how she was treated front new .it was parked inside a shop from 2004 till my boss bought it in 2014 it had 348000 on it when we got it

    I was wondering if a EM6-300L has a filter in the breather tube like a granite does .the granite is washable. Just checking before I start taking the tube off
