  1. Both of those are good looking trucks and I would be proud to drive either And Mech there's 11 page's of temptation there, some more tempting than others Lucky I live in Australia Paul
  2. The doors on the standard R model cab out here will hit the air cleaners if the stops aren't bolted on the hinges The door opening size stopped a lotta bigger drivers enjoying the Mack world Paul
  3. Great news, a quick turn around for what had happened to it Well done and hopefully many trouble free miles and deliveries ahead of you Paul
  4. As mentioned already, your just gunna hurt it These weren't real tough motors tp begin with 610 was as high as Mack went with all electronic E 9 Reckon these were in Australia and New Zealand only, never in North America, the brains trust on here will know for sure Paul
  5. Bob if you could get it, it sounds like DM and U model bonnets are hard to come by in your neck of the woods If this is the case, to me it's a no brainer, if it's there and the price is right, I would jump on it A lotta spare parts if needed for not a lotta coin All it takes is some clown back into your truck and you have a problem that could easily be solved with a spare bonnet Paul
  6. If you can remember were it was, might be just as easy to drive on down for a look around Make weekend out of it, take the little woman away Maybe I'm just different I guess Paul
  7. Im not old timerish enough yet so I'll keep on waiting for the brains trust to fill me in Paul
  8. Don't fall over Joey 🤢 LOL 🤣 Paul
  9. That is looking really sharp, I love it Paul
  10. Hippy thats exactly what it is, it's the day both our countries first fought together as our own countries It was a terrible mess that we never did any good at We lost a huge amount of troups in a very short time, both countries have never forgotten The looney left are trying their best to change this but the ANZAC day parades are just getting bigger and bigger, the young generation have really embraced this School kids raise money to fund trips to Turkey to be on the beach were the troops landed, it is a big thing to Australia and NewZealand Anyway not worry it is memorial day in the U.S. and we all must remember the price people there have paid for our freedoms that we now take for granted We must never squander our freedoms no matter what country we are from Paul
  11. R.D. Don't ever think your country is the only country caught up in keeping the world free This on the back of a NewZealand truck The two bigger islands to the right of Australia, the greatest country on earth Not many scraps around the world your mobs been in that others haven't been in alongside, come to think of it there will be some there that wont mean a thing to people in the U.S. Respect to all the men and women from all the countries keeping it a good and decent world And a thank you to the U.S. for been there in our time of need I doubt you blokes even know what a ANZAC is or what it means Paul
  12. Seems your not alone with this issue Try emailing the picture to yourself, if it is to high a resolution it won't load up a postimg account and link them across I had to do this for a while Paul
  13. Dunno if this link work's or not A V8 was a option, all interesting stuff to me Paul
  14. There isn't a lot of motor under the bonnet The chassis rails tappering up towards the bogie is something I have never seen Thanks for the photos Paul
  15. Great stuff Vlad, a very different part of the world than what most of us will ever see Safe travels and keep the photos and stories coming All very enjoyable Paul
  16. Maybe look into a full vinyle wrap, no idea on the cost but it's quicker, easier and you can get any colour and pin stripes, lines or graphics you want printed on the wrap The purists wont like it, but it isn't for them Paul
  17. Well a bit of time to get fully wound up for Saturday morning Paul
  18. And much quieter Paul
  19. A 671 GM is a massive motor in physical size compared to the little Cummins I fitted a 671 to my Federal that had a HB Cummins, I had to cut the fire wall and it was a huge battle to fit between the chassis rails The steering box had to be changed to one that fitted outside the chassis rails I used a 1418 Mercedes Benz steering box It wasn't a simple job at all, HB Cummims is similar in size and the predecessor to the common 14 liter Cummins Paul
  20. Oh my, I'm jealous, we have nothing that cool in Australia Paul
  21. For the height adjustment in Australia most people for height challenges like this have this style of the hitch Many different styles to suit many different applications Looks good Geoff Paul
  22. OD you might be surprised at what a good sign writer can do They can usually take the old sign off doors etc with out damaging the paint to much Then sign write and scroll, pin stripe etc so you can not even tell anything was ever there My son works for a company that does everything from trucks that have been upside down to brandnew trucks getting sign written Somevof the transformations are quite amazing Maybe speak to one of these type of places, or just a sign writer that does old fashioned scroll work A few grand goes a long way
  23. Well you had me sucked in Paul
  24. That really is great news, doesn't matter how or why it was what it was All that matters is it is fixed Paul
