  1. Tickets are booked for me and the Old man to come up to the show from Florida!! Wish we could bring the trucks up but its a little unrealistic. Cant wait to see all the Mack together since we don't see many old ones down here!
  2. So over the years my original steps and brackets look like they have taken a beating. I'd just like to replace all the brackets and steps but last time I priced them out at Mack I could almost replace the truck!! Any suggestions?
  3. Dirtymilkman Im with you. I think that's more like 4000 gallons. I haul 6000 gallons with a my tractor trailer and Im at 79200 lbs! And just legal in length and weight. theres no way that's 6000 gallons and if it is its not legal for any roads.
  4. Thanks everyone. I'm also gonna post all my original spoke hubs and wheels for sale of anyone is interested. 4 of the outter wheels are powder coated a chrome color! They look great all cleaned up!
  5. I know some of you might be against it but I think Buds look way better then those old heavy spokes! So I did it!! Here are the pics of the outcome..... u be the judge
  6. That truck looks sweet. Not my truck tho as stated.
  7. Looks sweet!! Just need some shine on that metal and she's read to roll!!
  8. So I found the problem. When pushing the fuel pedal to the floor the return spring was not allowing the linkage to fully open. Went to lowes and got some springs. Replaced and she's back to her old self. Thanks fellas.
  9. Our other truck is also a 88 superliner 350 e6. It doesn't have the same speed as it used to and doesn't seem as powerful as before. It's been rebuilt once about 3 years ago. It just started acting up. Idles fine just doesn't seem to have power on acell or at top end. I've searched but haven't really found anything. Any ideas?
  10. Where did u find that thing at?? Lol. Just kidding! I'm glad u bought it!
  11. Front brake chamber maybe since it only happens when pushing the pedal?? If not that like everyone else already stated it def a leak somewhere.
  12. I know what to say... My superliner went up in price if that single axle sold for that!!! Don't get me wrong I've been in that truck and all but it's a show truck only. U can't haul much at all with it.
  13. Ok found some problems. Right motor mount is shot. Replacing that now. Also u joint on trans yoke is little loose. Just gonna replace that too. Lastly my pinion seal that comes out of the front rear to the rear drive shaft is leaking. Replacing that now too but found the yoke has a little movement. Guessing some bearing inside is starting to fail. Might be time to scrap the camel back and these 4.64 rears and go to Mack ch air ride with 4.17s.
  14. I use the iPad for business, maps but mainly for music. it's nice having it in the truck.
  15. 1988 superliner day cab tractor E6 4 valve 350 hp Mack 9 speed Camelback susp on Mack 4.64 ratio rears Powdercoated rear spoke wheels Aluminum bud front wheels. Works everyday!! I need lower rears... She needs more speed for this Florida flat ground.
  16. She's old! Lol. I try to keep her looking sharp. Thanks for the comments fellas.
