  1. As stated I know someone who is have a Auction and one of the Items is a 1977 Mack R600 27000 miles Mack 300 5 Speed, Truck is fully restored but has been converted to a Single axle on Pete Air ride with Custom Eby Body w Gooseneck Hitch. I have sat in this truck and started it. It is a great truck and sounds great too. I took these Pictures this past weekend. The Auction Info is attached as well. Thought Id pass on the info to some real Mack Truck Collectors.
  2. When I check the balancer what should I be looking for?
  3. Ok so my superliner with a e6 350 has developed a viberation mostly felt when accelerating above 1500 rpms on the highway. U joints and driveshaft is tight and was replaced less then 6 months ago. I can't figure it out. My belts did come off and apart a week ago but I assumed it was cause they were old cause when I replaced them everything is good. Now a 1000 miles later I have this viberation. I really feel it in the fuel pedal. Any suggestions?
  4. What about just getting a ch rear cut off and dropping in place? That's what I'm thinking about doing to my superliner.
  5. Ritchie... Wish u were closer to me I'd trade ya straight up. I have Mack rears on camelback and am wanting air ride for my tractor.
  6. So there were no snap rings to remove on the inside?
  7. Ok so my steering wheel is worn and I'm looking to replace it. My question is.... Is it hard to remove the original wheel and who would you guys recommend that would have a wheel that fits?
  8. Yes sir. I wanna go air ride and lower ratio and of course buds. What kind of air ride is that? I was thinking of going with a Hendrickson air ride. Possibly off a ch
  9. That would be great. My axle measures 7 1/2 inches across if that helps at all.
  10. Did you replace your bearings as well or just your hubs and seals? Also if I get the part numbers from mack could I use those numbers to cross reference instead of tearing down one of my hubs? Only problem is I use the truck everyday... Not a lot of time to be down.
  11. Yes I'd like to go to hub piloted buds. We have another superliner that came with them and mine has spokes. I'd like to just buy new instead of a scrap yard. I'm just not sure what part numbers to use. I'd like the truck to not be down for to long waiting on the right parts.
  12. Ok I know I'm beating a dead horse but I have done some research and can't fin the information I need. I want to swap out my drive axle Dayton/spoke wheels to bud wheels. Does anyone have the parts or part numbers required to do this? My rear axles are crdpc 92/93. I'm thinking PAI should have the parts instead of going to mack. Can the bearings be reused and just replace the hubs seals and drums??
  13. I'm looking to find a rear cut off. I currently have Mack rears crd 92/93s with 4.64 rear ratios with Dayton hubs/wheels. I'm looking for the same thing but with 4.17s and bud hubs/wheels. Mine are in great shape and have no problems just looking to go to bud wheels and smaller gear ratio so I'm not screeming the rpms doing 70 on the interstate. Any help would be great.
  14. Went there Thursday night jerry! I would highly recommend it!!!
  15. So I thought I'd pass on the info. There trucks are always super clean http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/4948702280.html
