  2. Im not sure why that hole is in the box...its always been that way. Our other Superliner is the same year and it doesn't have a hole. Strange! lol
  3. thanks guys, Its a really awesome truck and I've replaced virtually every wearable part. It truly needs nothing to work as I use it everyday now!

  5. Jerry if u get a hold of the superliner send me some pictures I'd like too see it. Thanks.
  6. Cmon man it's still a Mack. I know it would look good! I'll sell ya mine for the right price!
  7. Trucks doing good jerry!! I've replaced things here and there. The turbo went out but hey it works everyday so I have to give her some love every now and again. I'd love to find a superliner with a e6 and a 36 inch bunk on it. Keep me in mind if you find one! Thanks.
  8. Superliner hood will never fit that truck. Superliners have completely different frames. I see you have 2 options. Option one buy a superliner. Option 2 deck your truck out! Take a look at my pictures. Everything I've done you can do on your truck. Polish everything and get some nice boxes fenders and stacks. Swapping to buds isn't that difficult either. I did it and love the out come!
  9. After the Mack dealers failed attempt to reseal it and then they told me I need to get a elbow that is no longer available I removed the elbow cleaned it really good put a new seal and new clamp and it's back to normal. The clamp has been updated since 1988 and is completely different. The Mack dealer never told me that! Thanks for everyone's help!
  10. Just called him, no luck. No one has the part. Like I said I'm trying to find the part because it's leaking boost right at my new turbo. Any ideas?
  11. The part number for the elbow is 5md4157m. I'm striking out on finding it.
  12. I have a boost leak where the air comes out of the turbo and into the elbow that goes to the cooler. Mack advised me this is a common problem once the turbo is replaced and the elbow should be replaced too. They siliconed the mating surfaces and said if that doesn't work replace the elbow. The problem is Mack no longer makes the elbow! So now I'm gonna have a boost leak forever?? I used to get 22 psi of boost now I'm only getting 18 psi. I provided a picture of the elbow. Any help would be appreciated.
  13. Welp, we flew up from Florida on Friday night. Drove 2 hrs Saturday morning and froze looking at the few trucks that were there. The ones that where there were beautiful. Was able to catch the redskins game on Sunday so all in all a good weekend. On a non rainy weekend how many trucks usually show up?
  14. Come on fellas... Did I mention I'm flying 1000 miles to see ur trucks! I hope there will be a couple there!
  15. I'm not liking the weather forecast! We are flying up from Cape Coral FL just to come to the show and this weather is not gonna make for a exciting trip.
  16. I removed the Mack spoke hubs off my truck and installed hub piloted hubs and wheels. They came off a 88 superliner with 38k rears. What I have are all 4 hubs and 4 chrome color powder coated wheels and 4 other wheels that are painted that I used for the inners. All you would need is seals and new bearings unless you reuse your old ones. They looked and worked great I just went a different direction with my truck. Take a look at my pictures and you can see what they look like. Located in Cape Coral FL. Contact me at 239-410-1662 if interested. Looking to get rid off because they are just taking up space at this point.
  17. Haha thanks I think. Lol. You could total dress up a RD! You should do dual exhaust! The exhaust shields are 60 inch solid 270 degree. They are hard to find in 60 inches. Most are 48 but I like 60s cause they hide a lot more. I actually ordered them from a dealership locally. Not the mack dealership bc they have nothing!
