The mechanic that work on my truck says that we need to adjust the thrust on the driver side king pin, (small play 1/8th) but the adjustement nuts looks pretty rusted, he says not to heat it too much cause de bushings are nylon made and might melt , is that right ? I was sure they were brass . So I want to go the safe way before going any further , he wants to remove the wheel the brake booster to have sapce to work on and even redo the whole king pin , I said wait a sec I want to think a bit . any one with any idea trics else ??
  10. maybe I'm not sure a 100% but my RB688 is a 1989-1990 built up in Oakvile ON Canada, my comment was more oriented in the way that Mack is producing less and less from within inside de company .

  12. I have seen this video over and over and over again and try to be as smooth as you are but there is always that GRRRR from 4th to fifth and then from 5 lo to fifth hi , I tried at lower rpm higher rpm double clutch no clutch , anyway I still try , by the way very nice video.

  14. yep they are doing what I call a DE-Macking (only the dawg and the letters will be real Mack) of our good old Mack, buy cheaper parts make more profit and screw the customer .
