Yes, I posted a picture of whatever it said on there. Nice souvenirs though, I guess. I had the one picture of a chock that was propped in front of the tire and it looked like it had pushed into the tire an inch or more. They were just a little piece of 4x4, I'm sure they were mainly for show instead of actually being capable of stopping a truck from rolling off.

Yes! They had a lot of golf carts there too, they were everywhere! You could rent a golf cart, but even Tony Youngblood was complaining about how expensive they were- he said they were $150 a day, but I heard others say they were $100, which is still pretty steep. I guess if you split it 2 or 3 or 4 ways it's not bad though.

Yep, we're planning on being in Macungie too. I might wear my BMT T shirt, and a floppy hat. Zina's sister, Vicki from Florida, is coming too.

Well, Zina from Gladys, formerly known as Zina from Florida, asked me if I had snuck in any pictures of wimmens. I said "of course not (😁), but if one just happened to be in the picture I didn't crop them out either". So I'm always looking to find the "wimmens beside a truck" picture. Old habits die hard they say.

I wore a baseball cap the first day, then I switched to my "Gregg Hoffman hat" (Underdog) but I still ended up with a sunburn on my neck. I might have to bring my Florida hat to Macungie, that's a little bigger and even more floppy. I think I need a Sombrero.

I made it to the ATHS National Show and Convention for the first time ever. It was in Harrisonburg, about 2 hrs. from here. I saw a lot of trucks I had never seen before, and some BMT members too. All the pictures are here, just click on the picture- Here are some of the many Macks- This is one of the best looking i've seen- this one too-

Hmmm...makes you wonder.

A couple more from the wildlife drive. I was going to make Vicki a squirrel picnic table, but it looked like crap, so I ordered one from Amazon for her!

I'm all for that! I still miss that 2 ton International truck that we almost bought. If that guy had ever come up with a bill of sale from Maine we would have.

I wanted to get a pickup when I bought my Impala, but the price of pickups is just crazy now! I've had the car a couple of years now, but it's a 2016 Impala, clean as a pin, had less than 50,000 miles I think, and I wouldn't be afraid to get in it right now and take off for anywhere. I've never had any problem with it. I paid $12,000 for it, and like I told Munchie that kind of money would get me something like a 1983 F150 with 300,000 miles on it.🤣

Oh, I'd never seen a one before, but every day last week was a 20 a day-day.

Welp, I haven't been posting many pictures lately, so here's a few from our trip to Florida last week- and this squirrel that was here, just because it's a good squirrel picture. I saw these things all over the place at the lovely Vicki from Florida's place, where we stayed. They look like grasshoppers, but i've never seen them this color before. And I saw a small reptile on her fence- well, many of them too actually, lizards are everywhere. And we went to one of my favorite places, the Lake Apopka North Shore Wildlife Drive, where we saw many large reptiles. If you go to Florida it's a good place to check out, you just drive a round the north shore of the lake, it's 11 miles, the speed limit is 10 mph I think, it's a dirt road but no problem in a car, and you will see tons of birds, turtles, alligators, snakes, (well, i've never seen a snake but i'm sure they're there!), and we've seen pictures of the bobcats that people see, but we've never seen it. It's better than going to any of those "tourist trap" alligator places, and maybe the best part-it's absolutely free. We saw this osprey there on a pole eating a fish. Vicki took us over to a place called Green Springs. I guess it's called Green Springs because the water is green. That's where we saw this owl. Here's a big Mack truck- ...and since I didn't actually get to see any girls in any cars, here's a re-run from way back when I drove that silver Peterbilt, taken when we were stopped in traffic on I-85 north of Charlotte, N.C.

I have his address at home, but i'm not there. I doubt that it's any good, it's for his New York place, and I don't know if that's where he's living now or if he's in Va.

I needed a new pair of slippers and wanted to order some "My Slippers" from him, but I just couldn't see spending $70 for a pair of slippers. I did start buying Goya products though, a bottle of hot sauce or a can of beans are pretty affordable.

So, what do you think about that, 1958FWD?

You know, come to think of it, actually you do see some fine looking specimens at the Wal-Mart store, along with the usual wackos. Especially in Florida 🤣 But while A girl in a car seems like fair game to me, I just couldn't take pictures of the Walmart customers. Me- "hello there half nekkid college girl, welcome to the Walmart store-would you like a basket?..and if you don't mind, could I just get a quick picture?" 911 operator- "911, what is your emergency?" Half nekkid college girl- "uhh, yeah 911, there's this creepy old guy that wants to take my picture just to show his friends." 911 operator- "and what do you look like ma'am?" Half nekkid college girl- " I'm 5'3", 120 lbs, blonde, big boobs, wearing short shorts and half a Tee-shirt shirt." 911 operator- "OK, I have a squad car on the way...and a back-up unit...and they said they all want a picture too." I should just get the carts from the parking lot. -
