  1. Our 86 we used to have was also a 300 with the 2 sticks 6 speed and an econodine, but we never shifted from hi to low range or as asked split gears on it. Yes we could shift in reverse to a higher gear on a long back ( did that just to annoy my father) Jack
  2. Maddog I saw your truck come in sounded nice my father liked the detail in your truck a lot of nice people there to meet and talk to. We had to leave after lunch had issue at work back home that needed my attention Sunday. Will make a return next year.
  3. Nice pictures I was there for the event and was a nice day for all. Nice pictures Yarnell, the row of all the B-Models the C&J Equipment truck was ours.
  4. Scott sorry mind melt, thought you asked about stoneguards I just mounted under lights, the mirrors are made by Metal Mirrors, they where on the truck, I have a new set to mount when I have time. They come in different heights, mine are just 20" with a single guide post, You have to remove your bumper guides or extend them out, I have a set I could not mount because they hit the mirrors when the hood was flipped up. Also recent picture with stoneguards under headlights. Jack
  5. Scott I got those from a person selling them on here last fall, they are the Boles originals for the truck they where in original sealed box and we finally had the time to mount them, I see them on ebay every so often for sale. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments, my truck is in nice company with the rest of the other sharp Superliners on here, do plan to take the truck to Mack Truckfest at the end of the month so maybe see some of you guys there. Jack

I can blame my father he put them on for me while I was working one day, just have not had the heart to tell him there wrong and there all wired in because there heated. Other than that gaffe the rest of the parts went on correctly.

  12. I am in search of the schematics for the interior and in particular the AC/Heater unit for my 89 Superliner. Have a vacuum leak and other issues and need to get parts to fix, any help appreciated. Jack

  14. Congratulations, is your truck going to be staying at museum, they where putting together a collection of the various B-Model trucks. We are going down in September to see our truck at the museum so will see yours there also. Jack
  15. Thanks mackey58 I understood what you where saying. I did get a lot of pictures taken of the truck that day and actually met the person that ordered and drove the truck when it was new and he filled me in on all that the truck came with and sure enough aside from it having duel exhaust it is all original. I also got to see the Cappello family the previous owners of the truck and they where happy to see the truck and appreciated that I was not changing the paint color or its looks so that was nice, truck has a nice history in the area and it is identified as a Cappello truck.
  16. We used 1mm kiln dried sand on mine to blast away all the rust, was cheaper to get and worked pretty well, $300 for 3000lbs. Yours looks nice and neat, your frame looks pretty clean after you blasted it, nice work. Jack
