  1. just my opinion ! but i would mock it up first before tightening it all down to be sure everything will line up! There is a lot of room under a Cl hood! for compromise!
  2. I would suggest just do the manifold and upgrade to 5 inch exhaust and see how it feels to ya! Injectors can be done at any point! Just got to let it breathe! The turbo should spool better with the manifold setup! I think your best to stick with the 427 program it was meant for the gears you got a wider rpm band! The 460 was meant for a multi speed trans 18 speed!Try it with the basics first! Is the manifold you going to use for a CL ? That model was tipped slightly towards the engine!
  3. K so no nibbles on that ! So check and clean the flywheel sensor if it’s a standard!
  4. Good call Tjc low voltage is the enemy in most cases it can weld the solenoids ! If you got good crisp current it really makes starting much easier on the starter!
  5. Start solenoid on the fire wall sticking?
  6. yup deletes are very dicey situation ! Removing the exhaust from the air mix creates more heat in my mind this in turn puts more stress on valves that weren't intended to have that heat in the cylinder ! something in the programming has to change to lessen that impact either a a timing reset or less fuel/air! Can't name how many ISX heads I seen and heard of turned into shower heads over deletes gone side ways!
  7. There are two one from floor to tack and one from floor to engine!
  8. It will have a cable beneath the fuel pump near the front of the engine driven of the accessory drive shaft 🙏
  9. What ever makes the ya feel better bro ! The main cause for them to fail was nailed down to overspeed situations with dynatard! Bro ! The hard surfaces cracks then delaminates as it is braised to the lifter ! Just keep the rpm to beneath 2500 and you will limit your chances of failure! Its too bad they didnt get the fix till E7 came along the newer lifters were one billet and durable!
  10. If it were hydro locked you’d think you could go backwards with the bar if it’s solid it’s likl engine! Didn’t read the whole post mind you!
  11. good question Jim!
  12. yep me too only on the i phone thou!
  13. You've become a closet CAT guy Buddy ! 😅 yup wheres Moma! ?
  14. yup this will be a tough one Pai has the mounting brackets and thats it ! There used to be a kit for these but not anymore you could try droping some big flat washers behind the ball socket incert
  15. its at the rear of the water rail Nate I believe its 1/2 inch npt not btp
  16. Yup same mind set there!😎The fact he’s making 35 psi says he’s putting down some decent power to the ground most 460 s make that kind of boost 38 -40 it’s the best I’ve seen out of 460 with an xt file!
  17. Good points pro I never thought about piston charges that could change the outcome! So I may be out to lunch🤔
  18. Geoff ! I had a customer that has been running this system on a M11 powered louisville dump truck for a lot of years he used three car fans and had room for more It works fine for him ! That said I don't know how it would be on something with 500 plus pulling huge weight and hills! Around town work its a decent way to go! that said if it were a great idea the the bigg guys would have been using it! Volvo now uses a two speed water pump ! 😡 more shit to go wrong!
  19. thats including filters pan holds 28!
