  2. It's a 2002 if that makes any difference. I think they put it in some 2003 models also. I know the 04-06 Macks were junk alot of Turbo issues.
  3. New to this form but an old hand. I have a 90 RD 688 and the front end like it is jumping up and down at 35. I inspected the front end everything looks good. Put new rubber on no change. I hate throwing parts at it without a good idea what I'm looking at. Really I think I should replace rims next. It is a 20k front on 385 floats. Any help would be great. Vibration in steering wheel at 60 +

  6. I don't want to high jack your thread but I need some help and I guess this is where the Mack guys are. I have a E6 2 valve that I just had a total overhaul done on less than a 1000 miles on it. I'm seeing water in the oil and oil in the water. Runs real bad when I first start it with some white fuel smoke. Had the heads totally rebuilt also and new injectors. Really it dose run ok after it warms up and is using alot less oil and water but that isn't what I spent $8000 for. And it has a small bit of blow by. Getting alittle milky looking crap under valve pans to. Any help would be great so please help. I'm thinking they rebuilt junk cracked heads that cost me $1200.

  8. I have been loosing A LOT of oil can the compressor blow it into air system ?

  10. I have a 88 R model with a 13 speed Fuller RTOL in it. On the air shift side it will not stay in gear more than 10 seconds. The rest of the trans works well I've been running it in 12th but really need OD on the interstate.

  12. it might be just a simple short in the wire but you would think mack deal would find that but you have to remember people like me have work there lol
  13. I have worked at columbus truck and equipment mack deal rumpkey waste ect 15 yrs at it and the first thing i would do is send the head to be checked or you are wasting your time
  14. they lack in hp I have one and can get u the info you want next week when im home
