  1. I have never got to see one other than in pictures. I like all old tractors. I love to hear them when they are on the puling sled. Doug
  2. No she didn't get to mash my clutch Lol. Doug
  3. I bet the little Ford with a Sherman trans with the flathead would run fifty miles per hour. Doug
  4. That is a tractor you dont see everyday. Doug
  5. So you would let her mash your clutch. Lol
  6. Well the tractor belongs to this young lady's mom. They both are in our antique and tractor club. She is full of crap as a Christmas turkey. If you dish it out to her you better be ready because it is going to come back at you. She don't mind hammering on Mustang Sally. Doug
  7. It will run at least 45. It is a wild ride. The front wheels look like shopping cart wheels going that fast. It has the orignal hood and gas tank. He moved the gas tank forward and built the battery box where the tank was. It is a lot of fun to drive. The way he fixed the shifter for the four speed you can ony shift third and fourth. You can get ff and move it over and shift first and second but it is not needed. Doug
  8. This is Mustang Sally. She has a 302 Ford engine with a four speed trans mounted in front of the tractor trans. She had to have 18 inches added to the frame to make this work. It is a crowd pleaser when she shows up at a show or parade. My friend built this tractor a few years ago. He played with it a while then sold it. He is going to build a John Deere 40 with a flathead ford for his next hotrod tractor. Doug
  9. I have not had anything new to post on the little B in a while. Bill Has the form built for the cement. He hopes to have the slab in the next couple of weeks. After that the paint room should start up. We are looking forward to get back to work on the little B. Doug
  10. I hope you have a Happy Birthday. Doug
  11. Thanks for taking a look at the Fall Fest pictures. The largest thing that we had there was those big mud trucks. We don't let them pull. Only antique tractors can pull. We should have the B Model Mack ready to show next year. We hpe to pull the sled to the show with it. We are talking about having another pull next spring. We just started talking about it last night at our club meeting. I will post the dates if we have it. You can check in on our web site and look at the upcoming events. Doug
  12. Hello everyone. LaSalle Antique and Tractor Club had our Fall Fest and tractor pull October 20th. I have posted 190 new pictures to our web site if you would like to take a look at them. Go to www.latc.us then click on the Photo page then LATC Fall Fest 2012 album. Doug
  13. Well the LATC Fall Fest is over. We had 80 hooks on the sled. 29 antique cars and trucks. We did not get a total count on the tractors there this year. We was running a little short handed and forgt to get the count. Overall it turned out good. I hope to have pictures posted on the web site in the next week or so. The paint job has been put on hold for the little B Model Mack as well as the rest of the truck. Bill is going to build a paint booth and wants to try it out on the little B. He cut trees last weekend by his shop getting ready to start with building the booth. I will give updates on it as progress is made. Doug
  14. Things has went slow on the old Mack for the last couple of weeks. As of yesterday the cab and doors has a new coat of primer on it. I don't know if a lot will get done in the next week or not. Our Antique and Tractor club is having our Fall Fest and tractor pull this weekend in Jena, LA. We will be moving the sled, scales, tractors and trucks in the next few days to the fair ground. For info on this event go to our web site www.latc.us You can also go to the Photo page and look at all the pictures. The old Mack pictures are in Bill Melders album. Doug
  15. Still body work going on on the cab and doors. We had an old thrishing machine donated to our antique and tractor club. We went today and pulled it out of a barn. This was the first time it was pulled out in over 75 years. People was rolling down the windows on the way home taking pictures and hollering what is it. I have posted a few pictures on our web site photo page if anyone would like to go have a look. www.latc.us Doug
  16. That has to be good cables on that tail gate. If that cable was to break that would be a pile of meat on the ground.
  17. I hope you have a Happy Birthday. Doug
  18. Still doing the body work on the cab. It looks like at one time someone let the dump bed down with something on the cab. You could see where it was fixed. The old bondo was cracked so it was all taken out and used a body hammer to get it better. The right door had a small place to be patched so he cut it out and replaced it. Doug
  19. When we pulled the seats and floor mat out it looked real good. It still had a lot of paint under it. The drivers side floor will need to brushed up a little. Not bad for a 1959 model truck. We got it in Upper NY state a year ago next month. Doug
  20. I know the one I had on an old Ford had Mark Four on the side of it. Doug
  21. The fuel tanks have been painted and the inside coated. We got them mounted on the frame this afternoon. We pulled it out of the shop and put it under another shed. There has been a change of plan. Bill is going to paint the cab while he has it off the frame. We have the doors and all the inside removed. We may not make it for the fall fest unless the body work and paint goes good. The cab is in good shape. I will update as it goes along. Doug
