Spencer N.C. Transportation Museum 5/9/26

I went to the Spencer Truck show today.  It was a nice day, the show was cool as always, but it was a small show, and there was a threat of rain. I did get to meet ''The Heinz'' and a friend of his. They were really nice yooung guys from a couple hours away.. Turns out The heinz and I worked for the same Mack dealership just at different locations. I'm sorry I dont have a lot of pictures.  It takes an effort for me to post them.

old school R looks real nice.. pete wrecker just a "little "fancier then the '57 Diamond T Mack had!!

The R has less than 300,000 on it. Paint was done in 2000, and it was a tandem, he shortened it..

an ole blue Mack with a twin stack on the back. looks to be R700 can tell the old R's by the hd looking hood;;like it. doesn't have the short section on lower fender . all one piece . all it needs for perfection is the front western grill.

Be interesting putting a face to the name is all.   ( that's not really Doug..... his truck, but not him )
