Dieselfuel?? Does the truck go to the right when under power and feels like the rear end is steering the truck that way ?

No drives normal it  never did this before loaded probably 65k gross pulling a hill in high side made a loud grinding noise for a second then at the next stop sign did it in high side gears getting rolling then on the the hills if I got into it .it got lots worse as I kept going this was all in 30 miles or so no problems before this

Yes Terry thats true. However if the through shaft cracked at the inner cam it may be engaged inside the inner cam. I know that sounds far fetched, but not impossible.  Im leaning towards the inner and outer cams are worn badly.  Of course the shaft may try to push the output yoke out of the housing. He will let us know.

If it’s the through shaft it wouldn’t move would it, unless it’s a air power divider ? terry  :MackLogo:

If the thru shaft broke on an angle it would still drive some what! They do USUALLY break clean how ever there is that off chance! shit happens!

Just saying! Leave no stone un turned ! Take both side covers off and look quick and easy!

I ordered a synchronizer kit to fix some of the worn parts while I had it out the wanted some numbers off the low range hub and the vin they sent me a pai kit 806803 it seems similar but a few things are different did they send me the wrong kit if it’s right does anyone have an installation guide or something for it I ordered a manual but it hasn’t arrived yet btw I haven’t tore into the power divider yet hopefully this fixes it but I have my doubts

Ok.. PAI is good. The basket will have the letter 'R' stamped in one side. Thats the rear facing side. The friction plates and fiber plates have an order to their installation.  Pay attention to the inner snap ring in the center of the synchro. Sure wish you had asked me for a book. I could have sent you the book for $75 shipping included..
