totaled my F150 this morning

Yes, that’s not surprising. There’s only so much you can do to avoid them. Just getting a lot worse also. Glad I’m done. I probably mention I only go to the gym three times a week 10 miles round-trip and I don’t even like to do that. I really don’t like to drive anywhere anymore.

Strange things can happen. I was coming back from somewhere around the Philadelphia area after I'd delivered one of those big air conditioner units that go on top of a building. I was empty,  it was only a few days before Christmas. It was snowing and the road was pretty much covered. I was sitting at the red light right there where 896 ran into rt. 40. I was on 896, going to keep straight and take rt. 301. This girl in a car, going way too fast, came up to the light and when she hit the brakes she did about 3 complete 360's and ended up perfectly straight in the left turn lane behind several other cars just like she had driven there. Never touched a thing.

Back in the late 60's going north on I-81 in Syracuse NY in a C-800 city tractor,  I had two women in a big old 3 row station wagon decided she did not want to get off in the Exit Only lane she was in!! Cut in front of me and I jumped on the brakes!! I can still see the looks on the faces of the kids facing and looking out  the back window.. Luckily I got slowed enough to let her go and she probably never Knew how close she came to killing her three kids.

Yeah bro, this chick pretty much did the same thing cut me off to take an offramp on over two lanes. I was thinking of the split second this chick is not going to make that offramp probably the same thing I don’t even think she saw me and how close she came to getting killed, but it was pouring and hard to see out of windows I guess and Tom that was a very interesting story sometimes strange things happen

My only bad one so far:

2000 Memorial weekend, Friday morning going to work in my 2000 PSD CC DRW pulling my 40 trailer.  Traffic was busy in construction zone.  Sign says trucks left lane, as I was.  Onramp to the right, Mercedes decides to zig into my lane to avoid traffic.  My lane was stopping, I jam the brakes on and do a quick lane check and dive into right lane to avoid crushing Him.  I almost got by, but clipped him.  Dented my bumper, gashed his bumper.  Pull over, he's in a hurry and gives me his card.  President of some high faluten investment group.  Says it was his fault and let him know the damage.  Had to get new bumper ordered but that was it.  Lucky.

 

I have drove a few four wheelers into construction cones but that's it.

 

Sad, on the news the other day they actually had to tell people to not stop on the highway if you miss your exit.

 

Really, yes, they have to tell the morons today this little tidbit of information that most all of us intelligent people know.  Smdh.

I think we can go on and on with that subject Larry right here they’re always pushing slow for the cone zone. Apparently there’s lots of people out there that just blow right through like there’s nothing going on.
