Solution Joey Mack Posted 9 hours ago Solution Share Posted 9 hours ago On axle nuts, I used to preload them at 200 lbft, back the nut off, and then go to 50 lbft, and move the nut according to lining up the holes for the cotter pin. cruiseliner64 Posted 4 hours ago Author Share Posted 4 hours ago Yeah she was built for heavy haul operations.I was told Mack designed it for up to 300,000 lbs.Dont know how true that is but I do know her first job was hauling 200,000 lb beams for a motorway (freeway in the US) bridge project in the UK....
