RESTORING A 1947 MACK PUMPER MODEL45 S

Recommended Posts

Plenty of people here with the knowledge to help.  I'm not one of them with that particular model.  A good start would be to let us know where it is located (this will help point you to the closest places/people that may have parts) and take some pictures of the areas that need attention to post so that those in the "know" can weigh in.

Good luck.

What your pumper is must be the same chassis as a commercial E-model of a certain load capacity. Something like EF or EH. Narrowing down this point would allow you to increase the field of parts search. Steering wheels for old trucks are usually a trouble to find. Also they could vary about the mounting hole style. Key slot, splines, different ID etc. So if you expect to have any luck locating the stuff better post as many pictures and detailed descriptions as possible.
