AMT2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Share Posted June 11, 2017 Hi guys, we have a 91 RW 713 triaxle dump. It started life as a tractor. The conversion was already done when we got the truck. It has a light front axle and we are looking to replace it with a heavier one. Anybody out there got one they want to sell? Vladislav Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 I doubt on the ability of installing a MR axle onto RW. There could be difference in the location of the U-bolt holes. MR has a chassis similar to a R-model with 3.5 wide springs. RW has 4 inch springs and they put closer to each other along the axle beam than on R-model due to the different frame rail spread at front. RW front axle is similar to a one used on MH cabovers and probably CL. Make sure your donor axle has the same spring width and same center bolt hole to hole as the old axle., mack has different widths on these, depending on the model of the truck. terry 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
