j hancock Posted November 22, 2016 Share Posted November 22, 2016 A 609 was born as a END-711 211 HP Thermodyne. Somebody may have thrown a turbo on it or it is a non original motor. The tag should be on the pass. side of the motor but if it missing, the motor number is stamped on top of the timing gear housing in front of the injection pump.
