3pete
Have a 2005 CH600 and the gauges in the dash cluster will go off but instantly come back on. When they come back on the seat belt light will come on and the chime will sound. The engine never shuts down when this happens. I want to think it is a ground problem but am not sure where the dash ground is or where to start the troubleshooting process. Anyone have any ideas? TIA...........3pete
fjh
These dash panels weren't the greatest the dash panel printed circuits break over time!
DCR
Several years ago Mack had a service bulletin about this issue. It told how to run another ground wire to correct this situation. If this did not work then the gauge cluster needed replaced. 2 Quote Denny330-550-6020A "Mack Pack" Charter Member
tjc transport
on mine it was the wire going into the plug that plugged into the panel. i unpinned it and re-soldered the ground wire into the pin, then put the pin back into the plug. solved the problem, and that was almost 2 years ago. JerryB
5 or 6 years ago the wiring harness had corroded at the panel plug in. Snapped it apart squirted with PB Blaster. plugged it back in and no more trouble.
