Reverse light switch

Recommended Posts

No switch on the top of this quad box, it is an old R model and did not have back up lights. I did not even see any tappings on the top near the shift rails to install one yet, I have to pull it out anyway to fix a clutch and throw out bearing damaged from a previous owner I am just worried I will get a hard time on the inspection if it is not there.. thank you

My B has / had a bracket somebody made up years ago with a push type switch, almost looks like a starter button for a boat. The main stick hits it in reverse and the back up light goes on.
