How common was power steering on a B model?

Recommended Posts

My 1961 B Mixer has air assist on it with MACK part numbers, do not know if it came from the factory or was dealer installed. Paul

there was different variations. by far the best was probably the Shepard power steering box. don't think that was available til at least after 1961. there was also air assist and there were some that had a hydraulic drag link and some that had a hydraulic drag link and a hydraulic cylinder on the tie rod.
