Anybody recognize this car? Know what engine and trans it an? Ran at ATCO, E Town and a few smaller strips from 1950's to late 1970's by the Performance Plus Car Club.

The good old days when a law firm would sponsor a drag car.

Priceless!

My Alchol Funnycar in 1972 was sponsored by Marino's Italian Ices, times sure have changed. Paul

All I know is Milt Pappas pitched for the Orioles and the big bad wolf wanted to eat little red riding hood...probably no connection to the car.

Nor are the Mamma's and the Papas sadly.

  • 2 weeks later...

I took this picture and sent it to a couple clients of mine who were drag racers back in the day and were fixtures at eTown, Atco and island. Ill see if they recognize it and let you know.

Thank you very much!!

The car was also called RIGHTEOUS 1 and later with a tilt nose THE GLASS GHOST
