r model door sills

Recommended Posts

Watts has them ( the owners of this site) , call Barry.

You may be able to splice in the parts you need or install the full panel. Depends on what you find as you start to remove the rusted areas.

Basic install with some steps left out. Use a spreader clamp or monkey on a stick to hold door opening square, drill out spot welds, remove old rockers, grind area smooth and coat with weld through primer, fit new rockers in and tack weld. Check door clearance and if it's good button weld with mig. Do the button welds from side to side /end to end so the panel doesn't walk, as it will if you weld one side than he other. Paul
