It has a button you can hit to save the video if something happens, like a accident or something like that. Other then that it has about a 4 hour span it records, unless you hit the button it will just rewrite the new recording over the previous video.After what I had happen, I have put some serious thought into one. Apparently getting the at fault individuals insurance to pay is difficult without hard proof.
