Maddog13407 Posted September 4, 2013 Share Posted September 4, 2013 some 711 engines that were in cabovers didn't have the number on the front by the timing cover. its on the back of the block near where the head and block meet. if its in a conventional and you cant find the number I would be the engine isn't original and it came out of a cabover and its on the back of the block. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
