6x6 maxidyne dump truck?

Recommended Posts

The second 'M' in 'DMM' designates a setback front axle arrangement.

In 'RM' and 'FM' it is the setback front axle. But not in 'DM', because a 'DM', is a 'DM'. It needs a second 'M' to designate the setback front axle arrangement.

You can have an 'RM' that is only a 6x4 or a 4x2 e.g. RM-685RS or an RM-685RT

As Jim has pointed out, It is the fourth number that designates all wheel drive e.g. RM-6856RS would be a 6x6, RM-6854RT would be a 4x4.
