Indeed, my thought was always that he should have been shot while trying to escape when he came out of the woods the next morning. Guess he didn't surrender to the right officer.

I was heading in from Cleveland when I heard something on the AM radio on WLW about a man shooting at a police helicopter in Appomattox, Va. I lived in Appomattox over 25 years so I called Kim to find out what was going on, having no idea my nephew had been shot and killed. My niece Ashley answered the phone. She said "it was Bo". I said "what the hell are you talking about Ashley?", and she said Bo had been shot. I could hardly understand anything else she said, and I drank all the coffee between here and Cleveland getting in.

Sorry to hear about your nephew.

This is an example of why I support the death penalty. To allow this person to live is a insult to the victim's families and a complete waste of taxpayer dollars and a jail cell. There is no question of what happened and who did it.

We should not have to take care of that scumbag for the rest of his life. We could eliminate prison overcrowding to. If your convicted of a hannis crime you get your choice. Electric chair, Hanging, or fireing squad. No more overcrowding and lower our taxes.

I am a firm believer of an eye for an eye. Victims families choice. I personally believe our justice system is a sorry joke...Life in prison = cable TV and computers , free medical care, 3 squares a day, education and some are getting SS and unemployment! Want to make them miserable? Put their a$$e$ in a work gang and barracks or make them live in a state run veterans or senior citizens home. (no joke,I'm serious). We treat 100 times criminals better than our veterans and senior citizens.
