Contact the Mack Museum, give vin#. They can tell you spec's as it came off the line, original owner.

A "donation' although not required is always a good thing.

You left out the most important number to get your info. You should have a number between the 8 and L,which should be a 6 if your truck has a ENDT676 300 series Maxidyne. The complete breakdown of your VIN is as follows:

RW - model - Superliner

S steel frame

7 - 700 series(long hood,but all Superliner series 1 were 700's)

86 - ENDT676 300 Maxidyne (283 hp)

L - lightweight components(alum.fuel tanks,rear end carriers,etc.)

S - twin screw rear end

T - tractor

49200 - 49200th truck built in Hayward plant

All Superliners were built in Allentown.

That was always my impression also but I never knew if correct.

As Superdog said, it should have an extra number in the VIN after the 8, if that number is a 6 then here is some info for you.

Engine-ENDT676

Transmission-TRXL107A 6 speed

Rear Differentials- CRDLP92, CRDL93, 3.87 Ratio

As stated earlier, all Superliners were not bilt in Allentown. I drove a '79 RWS712LST for a few years and that truck was built in Hayward, CA. It was a real party to get parts for. Most guys at our Mack Dealer wold't even look for us because it was built in Hayward.
