  1. Rob.....thanks for being soooo nice and thoughtful. Your such a caring person and thanks for paying for the operation and everything!! I had that operation three weeks ago knowing that you would expect that from your future son-in-law and it went very well. Did not have to stay home from work and did not hurt one bit. And as for my MACK....Momma is the one getting it because she has had to putup with your neglect from all those nights alone when you were in the barn and at work. She knows that i'm such a nice fellow sticking up for her each time. Thats Loyalty and she's a very fine lady same as her daughter. mike
  2. Does Barbara know George is missing from the house? mike
  3. Rob, it really makes me fill very sad to think of you not having any grandkids........but,if you will leave for another week so I can get to know Nikki alittle better then i'll be glad to help you and momma out so you can rejoice. we can call him MACK "SUPERLINER" SANDERS. LET ME KNOW SOON!!! mike
  4. Yes Tom I knew who it was. Nikki is much nicer than the other person that is by now balless. Does anyone remember the old Saturday Night Live shows? I recall the one where they were saying the Mercury Marquis had such a good ride that they could even circumcise a baby without even a whimper. I was thinking of Rob when Momma got a hold on him. TOOOOO FUNNY mike
  5. WHO was that person that ran out of fuel in the driveway?.....and told everybody on this web-site about it?....do I need to tell about the other ones? mike
  6. Sorry.....thought you were talking about me......my mistake......thats MISTAKE # mike
  7. Rob, Most of the newcomers, guys would be most appreciate it if you would show them how you slowly eat it just like the hawk does, and they will call you a REAL MAN then, and only then. This will help some of the newcomers get to know your true grit and that your RoadKill Cafe really exists. No sauce please, that can kill the true natural flavors. So anytime your ready, post the pictures sitting down, standing up or even laying down. They are ready! mike
  8. Sorry about the stupid post that I did. I did not know your truck was a frame up project. Anyway, Paul is right on cue with his reply. Best Regards with your project! Sincerely! mike
  9. Yes sir, I have a question........what is a 673 oil pan?....and also have you been slamming doors at anymore truck shows this past year?....and do you forsee anymore shows in the future? Thank You! mike
  10. Not trying to be a smarty pants but, a tape measure is the ideal tool for this project. Just measure where the lines came out of their original air valves and you will want to follow the frame rails, one side or both depending on your likings. Its not rocket science but if you are like me I love to ask questions just to see if I can get a straight answer or not. Thats why i'm a smarta#^ most of the time. Keep Us posted and watchout for the Pelosi guy!!! mike

    Been Thinking:

Yaw see what happens when Rob gets to thinking.....we get Pelosified. mike
  12. Hi!....tell little Zoe that she has good taste in movies. I happen to love that movie, it has been my favorite since it came out. And I like Polar Express also. My girl friend laughs at me when I ask her if we can go upstairs and watch CARS on her big screen. I get my way sometimes when i'm at her house only when she's not watching America's Got Talent or Ballgames. The SuperLiner got my attention pulling Lightning McQueen around. I also thought about OtherDog when McQueen got lost and found the Peterbilt at the railroad tracks in the night......But, one thing that captured me to loving that movie was when McQueen was released from the inpound and went on the ride through the mountains. It was what was said on the mountain looking off to McQueen as why the Porche fell inlove with that region. It was a very inportant part for me that I remember growing up and is a part of me today thanks to my late father. Thanks for sharing that with me today and say a Hello to Zoe for me. mike

    Been Thinking:

Yea...... and no more Chuck Norris Pelosi e-mails......these are considered better and more pleasing to the human eyes. Don't ya think?....Should we take a VOTE now? mike
  14. Herb, It is loose where the transmission attaches to the bellhousing. I can see where it moves a couple of thousandths. There is NO movement at engine to bellhousing. mike
  15. Tom now thats funny.....All I got to do is go get Rowdy Rebel with all his guns and tear Chuckie up! I'm ready to get on with draining the tranny and figure the best thing to do is drive the truck to get it hot but, can't get on the driveway yet. So since the tranny has an internal pump I wonder if just running it in the garage for 30 minutes will be adequate enough to drain both sumps, since the gear throwoff should be working while sitting. mike
  16. Whats up Tom, No one here has heard of 85w90 but ya can buy all day 80w90 or 85w140. I bought Shell since i'm kinda partial to it now. So I come home with 80w90. Started it up this morning and to my surprise "kinda" the shutter cylinder popped open like it's supposed to. So now I can put the shutters back on and the radiator shroud. One more week then, I can drive on my new driveway, can hardly wait..... Hey, when are we going to visit you know who?...I can see him now putting up xmas lights on the roof of the garage and house. Bet that would be a site to see. mike
  17. Herb, I finally found someone to help me push the clutch down while I lay on the floor looking up at the transmission. Yes I found that the transmission is trying to separate from the bellhousing. It looks to be maybe several thousands but, still is slightly moving in opposite directions from each other. I poured just alittle over a quart of 80w90 inside the filler hole and screwed the plug back on. I hope when I get all my projects on the garage done that i'll get the transmission out. I would have thought more oil would have been used by the leakage that was observed and only a quart low. Thanks for your help guys!!! mike
  18. Thanks Jason for the info. I hope your Mack is doing well. mike
  19. Rob, I was going to mess with you this morning but did not have the heart to do so since your butt is still sore from flying all that distance this past week. You would think after all these years that those B52's would come in for a final landing and retire but, I guess they still need a good fix now and then to keep their habit going. mike
  20. Welcome to the MACK site John H and I hope you enjoy the fun of learning and all the BS the site has to offer, I know that I do. Keep us posted. mike
  21. Michael, That's scary cause usually no one agrees with me.... ....now i'll have to change my tactics again. mike
  22. Hey Larry, The former owner replaced the whole floor with a solid piece of metal. So now I'll have to settle for an assistant. Nikki looks good on the ladder don't you think?.....but I can't figure why Rob would have caught that photo of her on the ladder and showed everyone? He musta had one of his moments. mike
  23. This may take me a week or so to find the right assistant for the job. HUH...I might have to find a border hopper that needs a few dollars......... Well it's worth a try. I may have to call Nikki while the ole hound dog is away since she knows a thing or two about these B's. mike
  24. Barry, That B model is absolutely good looking. Congradulations to the owner. mike
  25. Hi Herb, Sounds like the transmission needs to come out for inspection, would you agree? mike
