Well, I still don’t see it. We wound up leaving the ball game early. Home team losing 9-4 7th inning stretch and we were both exhausted…. 40 years on nights … and I’m not used to staying up much past 800 anymore it we did hook up with friends and had drinks and good food hope everyone had a ball -

Must’ve missed something I did not know the crank was shot. Yeah you’re in between a rock and a hard place. I agree with Geoff better have to fix what you got. If nothing else now you know what you have. Either way you’re going to be spending money and nothing is cheap operating expense. I used to own my own truck Slap the plastic and get what you need to do the job right and do not cut corners.good luck

Also according to schematics there’s supposed to be a straight head screw on the outside of end cap which holds in a release spring and two ball bearing … don’t see any screw -
