Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarite I put somewhat of a custom job together when I first bought this place tricked out mailbox within a week some assclown mowed it down flat wasn’t even usable every thing busted so I replaced it with the ugliest box I could find 16 years later and they can’t be bothered with this one… bob

  6. I stormed out of there early walking around with a FedEx uniform on and everybody was turning their noses up in the air didn’t see anybody very friendly I said well this doesn’t really look like my kind of crowd… bob

  8. Yes it was also remember meeting a guy named Beatty had a gorgeous B Model stake body also Pomona fire had some gorgeous iron I believe LJ and a B model…show is it Reno????! It might be easier to show up I thought they had it here are just a few years ago I was supposed to hook up with the farmer 52 I never did see him thanks for letting me know… bob

I did see something that looked like it might have been one or something close that was behind a repair shop in Minden Nevada it was all in primer somebody was in the middle of restoring this thing it appeared …that was about six years ago it did have that overall appearance that’s the closest I’ve ever gotten to one other than moms car…. With 3000 pounds of chrome inside and out you would think they would have been more of a big hit… Bob

  11. You know speaking of extinct…. When I was born my mom hadda 49 dodge wayfarer convertible….. do you know I have never seen another one in my life anywhere I do remember riding in it quite a bit ,, till she sold it In 1960 … bob

  13. That’s the next thing I was going to say there’s probably enough parts there to get your money back that’s kind of a nice looking Cabover for the time ,,,, it actually looks ahead of it’s time ….I have never heard of them Great save bud… thanks for sharing.., Bob

Similar situation with me are used to work part time at a friends gas station Wayback in the middle 70s R model dump truck used to keep passing the station again and again all day long so I could hear That music all day long and he had back up bel on the rear axle that used to keep going ding ding ding ding while you could hear along with turbo charger and the exhaust Excellent I would hear it coming and go racing out there to watch it drive by thanks for sharing I imagine that one sounds almost the same… bob

We got hot August nights going on here in a couple of weeks I’m looking forward to that I go every year it’s all cars for those of you that don’t know what it is huge event for automobiles lots of fun lots of skin ha ha since it’s usually 150° here dates on the show is the hottest time of year… bob

That looks fabulous and yes Matt there are used to be a lot of old-timers around here that would let me Rome around the back lawnmower repair auto parts since then they’re all gone newer generation doesn’t really want you to do that as far as radiator goes I don’t know why you don’t just run water in it for a while personally I would swap it out or at least try to that way it won’t be on your mind constantly radiator core is have always been a fortune I got a price for an F model 40 years ago it was 800 bucks great progress that front end looks amazing..Bob

There was a lot of them in my town delivering freight law transportation back in the 60s early 70s when I was just a young kid I always like them even back when I was a young boy and they all had the hubcaps and yes ten-4 on the too much to do but I suppose it would be worse get up and have nothing going on as Paul mentioned… bob
