That's a good one Mike.
That MH shuttled LOTS of trailers for Spag's.
I remember the tv ads for Spag's on channel 27.

Like I said, a DM6856 is a Maxidyne powered DM with six wheel drive.
DMM could be six or eight wheel drive.

I use a product called Power Service. They have products for different temps and something called 911 when things are really gelled up during the winter.
Use it in Mack as well as a Detroit 671.

Now that the tank is off. How does the frame look? Hopefully, no surprises!

Yes, they did.
An example would be model number DM6856.

Yes. But it's out of his reach.
Can he get to the beer in the fridge?

Would take me a while to shift left handed.

Mid 60's Pontiacs came with B & S keys brand new.
Memory is a little foggy but I think that was all done by 68 or 69 and become a standard GM key after.

Thought you would enjoy!
Nice stove pipe!

Very nice Mike!

The heat is pretty bad.
A friend of mine has air conditioning in his garage. He has an asphalt modified race car and it keeps the guys that work on it during the evenings happy!

Never heard of that.

Yup, motor done in truck.
The most important deal is to have all the paperwork to back up "Motor In-framed". Paperwork would indicate bearings, liners, heads, pump, etc. Everything done should be listed and match the motor number and injector pump number.
Does the motor work have a warranty? Is the warranty transferred to the new owner?
Most motor work is done in the chassis unless there has been something catastrophic that has happened.

Wishing you good luck and also wishing that I had some sort of really fabulous advice to offer.
The best jobs always seem to be the ones that aren't advertised, so maybe a visit to some local trucking companies and businesses may yield something interesting through conversation.

Looks like someone reinforced the back plate for the lateral bar but otherwise seems ok.
I have seen a couple of trucks that have "blown" out the frame mount for the lateral bar and then has to be patched also.
It is a Mack design and part.

Looks like there was a fine selection of the breed at the show.
Thanks for the pictures Mike!

I have to rotate the air in the tires on the FWD that day.
Years ago, there was a gas station in the little town I grew up in that offered a summer to winter air changeover for your car tires!
Even had a plywood sandwich board sign out front advertising it.

Great Pics OD! Nothing better than classic racing Camaro's!
I believe both cars are actually 1967 unless some parts have been swapped.
The 1967 Camaro had the vent window on the door and 68/69 had one piece door glass (no vent window).
