  2. The millionth Mack, Remember when it rolled off the assembly line? It was a superliner and it went to Yarmouth Lumber in Maine. I don't remember the date but that was quite the time for Mack. Just like the last Superliner made, it went to the Yaworski brothers in Canterbury,Ct. Do you think the new truck models well reach the same benchmark as the millionth mack did? Tim
  3. Your cruiseliner would make an excellent truck to go to far off shows with the sleeper. Are you going to paint it your family colors? You don't see to may cab over macks anymore,Tim
  4. I always liked the look of the 700L.I drove a 1979 once with a 12 speed. the way the stack was set up, it would shoot perfect smoke rings when you put your foot into it,Tim
  5. I saw an artical in the overdrive magazine awhile back and their worth looking into,Tim
  6. Well with the 237 I'd think you could save some money on fuel and you probly could haul for the towns in the area. Having a DM helps I think, working in tight areas so that's an advantige too.You don't need to brake any speed records to make money with a old dump, she'll get the job done. Tim
  7. I'll get a hold of you on a 903 cummins too. 903 is a great sounding engine too,Tim
  8. Nigel, That superliner is one mean looking truck. I would like double air cleaners on my E-9 at some point. I think she would run cooler too,Tim
  9. Chad, I know where there is a 440 in a superdog, cab is toast but a good block. I can ask the guy who rebiult my E-9 if he has any leads,Tim
  10. Autocar's DK series was a great truck, Long steel hood and flat top fenders like the old White Constructors too, Tim
  11. I found a old Reo at an elderly gentelmans yard in the trees. It has a 903 cummining V-8 with a 15 speed and an aluminum frame and is a 10 wheeler. I bet that the old girl useded to really pull. Tim
  12. Scott, what ever your doing, keep it up. The truck looks really nice so far. I can tiker on um but a resoration like that is out of these hands. I wouldn't have wanted to be the guy in the combination swinging the cab around! Tim
  13. HOLY COW!!! What a truck! That's better than show room, Execellent job and thanks for sharing Tim
  14. Hey Fireman ,if you find one that shares your interests she better have enough sisters for the rest of us!
  15. I don't know to much about Reo's but they were around till the early 80's. I knew a guy in Jewitt City,Ct. that had a few Giants (big and ugly I thought). The older stuff was neat. Tim
  16. Thanks James for the info, I'll check it out. They should find a way to bring the E-9 up to todays' emission standard and we would have a real Mack agian. Tim
  17. Wow Barry ,Did you get this one back at your shop? It's amazing the driver walked away. Form the picture it looks like the pole missed the nose and just got the cab. Tim
  18. Since Volvo bought Mack I wonder if they are going to at some point drop the new 16.1 litre engine in a Mack, like the Rawhide. At least It would be a big block. Tim

  20. Thanks Barry, I'm learning alot about this great web site thanks Tim
  21. Barry, That is a great looking truck but why dosn't the states offer a Superliner like they do in Austria? I think Mack would sell a lot of them. Tim
