  1. I don't know what do they do now.

Shure they add the day now, the difference is constant.

Originally before 1917 all the calendar didn't count.

After the revolution of 1917 Lenin provided a lot of reforms including the set of the calendar onto the international standard.

The date of Socialist Revolution was 25th of October but the Holiday was on 7th November.

Another reform was a separation of the Church from the State.

The Church prefered to keep "the old style" calendar so all the christian dates differed.

On this way we have one more joky holiday "Old New Year" - 13th of January - the New Year date by "the old style".

  2. His brown eyes are great!

  3. I wish you all Merry Christmas!

As for myself I'll get only the holidays these will start from next Sunday about New Year.

We Russians selebrate Christmas on January 7.

Local church calender doesn't count (counted) additional each 4 year's day, so the dates are set off.

But it's good for me by the other side - the holliday's duration includes Jan 7&8 - whole 10 free days and nights!

  4. Superdog's place was PR'ed well before on here.

I recognized the picture just seeing the vehicles so many, no additional thoughts.

With that satellite technologies we old iron keepers need to dig under ground.

By the word, I saw some collectors owerhere in Moscow who covered their lovely scrap with army masking nets.

And it was long before Google Earth.

Hope the pictures of the kind are interesting for friendly BMT members only.

I've got mind maybe one of the girls you runed by just bited the tyre?

Or scratched it through by sharp nails?

Glad you ended up good with it.

  6. This is the question I'm trying to clean up to me.

NR manuals tell ED. I have never seen ED519 so suppose there is the only ED engine.

The displacement note in the manual say 519 c.i.

Intake mainfold consists of 2 pieces, or more correctly say 3 pieces.

I thought originally ED means pre-chamber and END single chamber so surprized too when found out END672 Lanova.

END457 is also Lanova but this is marine engine if the memory serves me good.

Some sources tell 30's early B series trucks were equipped with ED Lanova's.

Have neither info excepting the picture in that book though.
