  1. I see nothing wrong in your appinion for shure.

I'm also not a great COE fan although such models as EHU and H63/67 look strange and too nice on my mind.

As long I'm on here I slowly look these models for sale and haven't seen many of them.

If the memory serves me good, there were no more than a couple EHU's during the last two years.

This one is a tracktor and I like it better than flatbeds I saw before.

Due to my location it doesn't matter this truck cost $1000 or $2000 because I'll need to add something about $8000 to get it home.

And I can better ship it from the East coast.

But the need to pay $1500 with additional $2000-$3000 for inside the US transportation doesn't make much luck.

It looks a kind of good to me though because I better should work on my current projects than continue to collect nice scrap.

What we all like to do so much :)

  2. I would love to have it but at 1500 is beyond what I would pay

I would love to pay 1500 but transportation to the East coast seems to me beyond of my pocket.

Any ideas on how to transport it? I like it too much!

  3. I haven't come too excited about the stripping until I saw the picture with the sleeper.

    Shure it will look great.

But right now with no grill and so on it seems to me damn attractive in relation of how that old dark red paint was.

  4. By the way I may use corner pinion/gear with a combination of big lower gear set off mine's 5.02's wich I actually have 3 sets.

Ratio is determined more by an upper (corner) gear. But they are behind the covers for shure.

It's not my need of the day, I plan to start on my R not earlier than in 1-2 years.

Although 5.02 seems a bit slow for a hobby long distance travelling truck.

  5. I agree! so many places i'd like to see in this country, been past everywhere, never really been anywhere,if that makes any sense!.............................Mark

I also have this thing in common for shure.

That's why I make many stops by a long way. Niagara falls weren't really the aim, I more wanted to lay the trip down that point but look as much over as I could.

Of course It's much easier when you're on holiday but it's look to me as an important matter to think about when on a job.

You spend much more time when but more and more less than if you do a special holiday trip to same points.

And from my side I tested it many time and glad to say - it works :)

  6. Well said Paul, and Vlad, i'm sorry I didn't get to meet you and your son.

Don't worry Tom, let's hope we will live immortal.

I also sorry wasn't able to head in your neck of the woods.

if you visited niagra falls and then saw the collection that frank rose has, you must have gone by my place. did you go rt.33 or rt.20 to go to his place. gg2

GG2, thanks alot for the invitation, I hope I could do it one day.

So sorry we didn't get to meet up, next time!! Frank Rose out bid me on the Kemp Autocar coe mixer and a few others..at least it is at a good home. Wish you had a little more time though. Paul

Paul, let's hope for the best.

  7. Sounds good.

    The list of questions:

1.Could you open the big side covers and look about gear teeth actual condition (aren't broken?)

2.Are you able to remove the carriers from the axles?

3.Could you make a shipping to Secaucus NJ07094 and how much it might cost?

4.What the price you would be glad for including all above?
