Well I'm offended!!! I wanted his ass dragged throught the street of my town! The Moosies are up set?? Boo Hoo too bad. Our people in power and the media are offended? tough!!! They are the people who spit on me when I came home from over seas in 1972 and now worry about us being the evil Americans. Got a flood or famine? tuff sh*t Got pirates? oh well to bad. Pakistan wants us out Good! give the money we give them to our people. Palastine joins up with hamas....Cut them loose too.
The damn country here run like a kids T Ball game. Everybody gets a hit , every body gets an award and nobody gets offended. Work for it like I do, you fail...start over.
Sorry for the rant but being lowered from the "Ugly American" as we were know in the 50's and 60's to now being known as the "poor stupid offencive American" just galls me. Paul

We were given a choice today, a 32 hour 4 day week or layoffs to cover the cost of fuel. I see a choice this winter, gas, food and mortgage or heating oil and electricty. My wife jokes and said we had better look for a good box, I told her it had better be filled with 45ACP
Our HNIC is pushing electric cars, my question is the power to charge them comes from oil or natural gas power plants. More electic cars , more demand for power , more emmisions from power plants..... so what is the gain?
seems that it will increase emissions when you include the manufacture of the vehicle and the batteries.
I see no boat this summer for fishing, our 55 chevy parked and me extremely p.o.ed , hell I'm alread driving a damn Focus!
I take my truck to D C to protest, but he's probley away on vacation or bowing to some A rab. Yea, I am bitter!! Paul

There are a few photos including a side shot with a trailer in Bart Vanderveen's book called " A Record of Military Mack in the Services and Beyond." If you can't find the info I can probbly scan the photos and send them to you.
The partclar one in your photo is in the Israeli Army's museum on the outskirts of Tel Aviv at the old YAFO railway station, here is their e mail Etzel48_museum@mod.gov.il
The IDF sleeper / commnd units ranged from Fiberglass to Aluminun and Blown plastic. The width is close to the cab door width. PM me if you want me to try a scan. Paul

I had a full R cab less seats on 2x6 saw horses with out a problem, weighs in around 500 / 600 lbs I would think. 4 of us picked it up and put it on the chassis. I originally ook it off the chassis with a 1000lb engine hoist with no strain. Paul

Dang that sucks. I just found out my b was delivered to Horner mack. By what people are saying I can see bergen truck group aren't really that friendly to the avid mack collector. They just care about makeing $$$ with the big WM group. That sucks. Does anyone know of an old time mack dealer?
Thanks,
tom
Seems almost every dealer is out for the $ since they became part of the volvo group. The Mack Family attitude is gone. We had Mineola Mack here that would help you no matter what year you had. Now Gabraldi only cares about new and service..... parts changers and excuses..... Sad.. Paul

Glad to see you got there all right. Miss seeing your rigs around Shirley/Brookhavn thougfh. What did yopu do with the old stuff? . Paul

Lets not forget the newest lie. When the budge "deal" was made, 'o' agreed to get rid of 4 czars, now he feels he does not need to follow his agreement (which became law when he signed the budget).
Now he's backing the UN to give mother earth human rights! A rock, grass , ant and animal have the same right a us and the green nuts can sue in their behalf.
Maybe you would be vice pres for Trump! God Bless ya Ernie! Paul

The things I know:
All people in politics lie and steal, from the dog catcher to the H.N.I.C.
We have the largest supply of crude and natural gas in the Dakotas to make us energy independant to the year 2300 something .but DC won't let us get it out of the ground.
The Electoral Colledge elects the president by THEIR choice not generally by the popular vote.
I'm almost paying $4.50 a gal for fuel and no end in sight as some speculators make up a crisis.
One more scary thing...Long Island K.W. is closing the doors because sales have dropped of a cliff.
Our hope seems to be congress and senate to change direction or Smith and Wesson

I found some pictures of a pretty interesting Kenworth, this was their first experimental tractor powered by a gas turbine engine (circa 1950) not much information included in the article, other than the fact it was a flop, with many "issues" but some neat pictures none-theless. musta been a strange sight to see going down the road!.................Mark
Cool stuff. I've been gathering up Turbine info for a long time. Here is a link to my turbine album if interested. It's over 70 something photos Paul

If it (the Delco) has an internal regulator, and is anything like the 10SI internally, when it "kicks" in is based on the resistance in the the circuit that runs from the keyswitch through the "idiot" light, you can put a small resistor, or bigger bulb, to make it kick in sooner and start charging at a smaller rpm...the one I have (10SI) doesnt start charging until it reaches about 800 rpm, but after starting, I just blip the throttle, and it kicks in, charges, and stays charging even it idle (550rpm).
I wasn't thinking of the I.R. unit. Mine all have and external regulator not the internal.except my AC which now has a Hitachi in the generator case....but the increase in alternator RPM with the smaller pully sends a false signal through the regulator circut. Telling it the engine speed and demand is higher then it is. Like blipping the throttle.

If you want the Delco to charge at a lower rpm , change the pully down to a smaller diameter. I recall a 15% undersize will kick the charge in about 600 rpm . Paul

I'm going through my O.D. Mags it was this year so I'll find it for you. Paul
The company was called Tank Skinz, and apparently they no longer exsist. The ads stopped about 6 months ago. Paul

Our local combined dealer, Mack,Pete and Volvo( used to have K.W. til last week) is now an adventure. Went to buy some filters. I walked out with nothing. But actually enjoyed the time wasted. The "highly trained parts marketing proffessional" was to busy texting and had to ask 4 times what it was I wanted. As I was leaving the "service dept greeter" told me to come back soon. Only when I need a good laugh I said.
