Not a fan of Dodge, even though I have 2, but Dodge sells a Ram 1500 4x4,V8. Regular cab and an 8 foot bed for under 25,000.00 with the 2500 rebate offer. Seriously considering a new mule now. Paul

When where they set to deport?
Tom
I was there Friday morning ,so I probably think this week?

What port were these at? If they were taken in NY/NJ I cant beleve they trucked all those trucks up here from Texas just to be shipped to South America. Its a shame they are leaving this country but I agree with others that they will be OK in Argentina.
They were all at the Pensacola Port in Fla. They all had the same Shipping agent id with them, same ship and same port of destination in Puerto Madryn Argentina. There were trucks from all over the eastern and central U.S.A. there. Paul

I wanted to get data plate pics on a few but don't think I was even supposed to be snapping photos at all. From what I can gather the Argentinans take pretty good care of their trucks and have a big Mack following (must be all the German) I would rather they were here but where they're headed is better than Africa or Asia I guess.

I just talked to the guy and it now is buried under a butt load of snow. But I have been anxious to see the door plate to know what model it really is. He is supposed to "brave" the weather in his words and get me a pic
Is a butt load more or less than a shit load?
A butt load drags you down a shitload raises you up....or so I'm told.

Where I am is 90+ miles from there, due to family obligations we are stuck here. We've sold off some farm land to survive. I'd rather be in Va. for 1396.00 in taxes as opposed to 15,000 but we can't leave yet.

With the EPA inline to get near unlimited power after the Rio 20 "global" warming conference next month, to regulate all non enviromentally friendy pollution from mining to cow farts per the UN's Green Book......eveybody better vote!! This got to stop.

There was ton of equipment, trailers and trucks ,mostly Mack and Freightliners going to South America. I was told that DM nd U models are prefered in Arghentina in certain areas. I finally got to use my TWIC card and took "spy camera phone pics. Paul

It has the roll off set up on it the tank is on the pass side A phone number and a 8250.00 price on it. The fuel tank set up is hooked to the air tank.... You get up to the cab the door bottoms, roof edges and cab corners are metal tape. For those from the Island it was an old Jamacia Ash than Gershaws truck. Paul

I believe this was a tunnel support vehicle. Short wheelbase for turning around in the tight confines. It was probably fitted with a winch or two for lifting and tearing. the plated front end was for pushing disabled vehicles out of the tunnel. Through the 1990's and maybe even later, this equipment was mounted on MR chassis.
Tunnel truck would be 50's. In the early 60's NYC BTA went to International Transtars and that to MC and MR Macks. All the wrecker bodies are made by Weldbilt since 1964.
NYCFD did experiment with ultra short bridge and tunnel and NYC Aviation crash Chemical rigs in the late 50's early 60's built by the NYCFD shops. Looking at the drivers seat which matches up with the rear steer ladder rigs and the "fire bell" next to the driver. It's more likely the unit is one of them. That was during the NYCFD extreme times....Mack F Super Pumper to the Micro Chem trucks. Paul

Hey David, had to add this in. Paul
OBAMA POKER
Played like seven-card stud, but with modifications to mimic real life scenarios and decision-making.
In each round of Obama Poker players can decide to go on "welfare".
"Bleeding Hearts" are always wild.
The game introduces 3 new suits: "Unemployment", "Debt" and "Healthcare"
Each "Fiscal Cycle" the players vote on who gets taxed the most.
Late in the game, a "Lame Duck" card is added. Does it help or hurt you?

Gee all I did was go to Port Newark on Thursday to drop off a 58 Buick (finally got to used my TWIC card), to VA and load the R up with a pair of 41 chevy pick ups. Get caught in traffic a zillion times and come home to a dead heater in my shop (dead snake in it) and an angry Basset hound. Paul
Oh and took secret camera photos of all the Mack Trucks going to Argentina!

The OKW should all understand this, if they think they are "fair" ones. A study by the New York City Budget Office was released this week, and you didn't hear much about it in the mainstream media because it hurts their candidate's message.Keep in mind, I'm your Conservative Everyman. I'm no economist, nor am I a political scientist. I call 'em as I see 'em just like you do. And away we go... New York City has a little more than 8 million residents. Of those many millions, 1% -- ONE PERCENT -- pays 43% of the income taxes. You know how many people that works out to? About 35,000 people. Picture in your mind's eye the City of New York, not just Manhattan, but all five boroughs. Imagine the throngs here right now enjoying the holidays. Think about the police presence, the sanitation, the schools brimming with children...East Side, West Side, The Village -- a hell of a town! 8 million people! Now imagine Yankee Stadium, or any average Major League ballpark, and fill it except for the nosebleed seats. That tiny number pays almost HALF the operating costs for the city. How's THAT for fair? Another kick in the head is that ten percent of New Yorkers pay 71% of the taxes. Guess how much income it takes to crack that ten percent? You don't have to be one of the millionaires or billionaires whom the Divider in Chief loves to vilify. You need not be an evil fat cat making $200,000 -- perish the thought! What's it take to crack the top ten percent in the most expensive city in America? $105,000. Yep, a buck five. And they talk about shared sacrifice. They blather on and beat annoying drums chanting about fairness and "Tax the rich until they're poor". They should all be going door to door chanting to the one percenters, "Thank You for the Civil Services, We Owe You One!" When I think about the wealthy in America, I think about the hard work, the risk and the sacrifice it takes to succeed. I think about all the people able to feed their children and send them to school because they have jobs created by the successful risk-takers. I don't hold a grudge against the big time rich -- except for limousine liberal millionaires in Hollywood. Whatever you think about those disingenuous narcissists, multiply it by 75 and you're in my neighborhood. Heck with them. Until they remit an extra couple grand to http://pay.gov, they have zero credibility just like all leftists seeking to raise taxes. The time has come to finally poke holes in the rhetoric of the Occupy rabble. It is time to pull back the curtain on leftists who seek to pit American vs American in a class war under the false pretense of fairness. It is time to silence the ugliness of envy. It is time to shame the selfishness and hatred of the American Left, starting with the election of a new president...That would make me fairly happy. T.J.
