I just looked at the pics. I like how it has "new tires" but it's missing a roof, firewall and floor. And all for 22 grand!! LOL

Wow, that bull nose brought top dollar! I like that blue and white cabover, that went pretty reasonable.
It sure did! And that K100 was really nice looking too.

I love that house mover's personality and comments....especially where he says "I took an extra day just so you think you were getting a better deal on the price." LOL

Whites were big in Australia and the RoadBoss was at a guess the most popular of it's time in that size truck, maybe Louisville was more popular but it was either one of those two
Some evening entertainment from Australia for you all over in Yanky land
And it's even almost on topic 🦘🦘
Paul
That's cool Paul. You know, I once had a conversation about that with my now deceased Australian friend. I once asked him what the most popular make of trucks were back in the day over there and he said the same thing.....lots of White's and Ford's.
He was an International guy himself.

White was just like Allis Chalmers and International Harvester. They each made everything from trucks, tractors, heavy equipment to home appliances, power generation, crushers, mills, you name it. EVERYTHING. IH even had it's own town here in Ontario. Their own employee housing, schools, churches, fire department.
It's amazing what some bad management can do to a once giant, that would think would be unstoppable.

All good comments. I wish I could still live in a place like that. Just honest simple times. Not to mention the cars and trucks were a million times better than the plastic electronic crap we have now.
And you are right 70mackMB.....we do need more shows like this. But instead we teach kids how to do mass shootings and shit because every show on tv seems to be a guide on how to commit homicides now. Then we wonder why all the stupidity in this world. Well, we here don't wonder, we're all hard working sane people. Can't say that for the rest of the population.
Anyway, back to happy thoughts.......did you see when he goes to some of the restaurants there? Try and find a burger or a slab of steak like that now at a restaurant! LOL

There are some cool old Mack's in tomorrow and Saturdays auction too.

I like this! I started trying to register to bid today, but then didn't complete it. I should have prepared sooner. It's a ten hour non stop drive for me and my trailer is buried in snow.
But this would be a fun toy to have.

I just told my kids again the other day. "Don't have kids, just buy toys for yourself and enjoy your life"

That's like here. They have proof China interfered with our last two elections which Trudeau won (which I highly doubt because everyone in this country except Toronto hates him) and yet they have not kicked him out or called for an election.
They already sold our oil sands and a whole lot of real estate around here to China.
And then he even contracted out our RCMP communications to a Chines company!!! WTF??????
This whole world is upside down.

That computer crap just gave me cold chills.. I better go to goodwill and get another BMT machine...
Well my thing is, I'm too small to defeat the government, but I'm not gunna be quiet and take their crap. So every once in a while I have to let them all know what I think.
It was funny because I had a friend (now deceased) that used to work for the gov and he gave me all their email addresses, LOL
We do have freedom of speech...no? LOL

Maybe he can do what I couldn't. I emailed Justin Trudeau and invited him to a boxing match with no gloves, but he didn't except.
But the gov virused my computer and fried my hard drive. Bahahaha.
That's why I buy cheap used laptops, LOL

I always wanted one of those ford 9n's with the Funk repower flathead v8 kit.
I'm so bummed out. I missed out on one here. It was museum quality. Every nut and bolt was polished, had a flathead V8. Saw it at out local tractor parade and then found out the owner passed away just after. Someone called me and told me it was for sale for 10 thousand Canadian.
But I was still in the trucking business and couldn't afford 10 grand, LOL
If I had the mining job I have now I would have jumped on that in a heart beat.

There was an old TV show I used to watch, and now they have it back up on RFD TV app. Post Cards From Nebraska. I love this show. The world I want to still live in. Such simple times.
But anyway, this episode has a house mover with a cool looking White Road Boss.

My cousin has a Deuce too Joey. he used to drag race it. Has an air shifter and wheelie bars, LOL

Here in Ontario Canada, when the dealer shimmed my puff limiter to meet our annual inspection limits, that truck couldn't move itself empty. It was lame.
So I had the puff limiter plumbed through the deep reduction air switch for the Mack 12 speed, since my truck was switched to an Eaton 15 over before I got it.
Go into the inspection scales, flip the switch. Get out on the highway, flip the switch, LOL

Puff eliminator
in Engine and Transmission
Posted
It just gives quicker throttle response and gets it on the turbo faster. I ran an 88 R model with an E6 350, 15 speed and it was a tri-axle dup truck with tri-axle pony. We gross 140,000 here with that combo, max legal in Ontario.
With our emissions laws and testing, they had mine shimmed so bad to pass, like I said it was gutless. Big time.
But by plugging it off, and later plumbing through the air switch, it made it pull again with those weights because as soon as you got on the throttle it would get up to boost quicker.
Yes it would give a puff of black smoke, but not too bad because I didn't just mash it to the floor.
