  1. Here's my present truck. 2005 International Paystar 5600i with a Cat Acert, 18 speed, 20-20 and 46 axles, Eagle interior, 20.5 foot diamond line heated dump box with vibrator and a CPL auto greaser system ( I swear by those!) it's kind of an on going project (keeps collecting shiny parts ;))

When this ones paid for I can start looking for another R or Superliner project, if I still have any money after I buy fuel :pat: That's my sleeper hooked to the back. :)post-2303-1208222452_thumb.jpg

  2. Hey, nice trucks Chris. That White looks even cooler in the Australian version with the big breather snorkels. I always liked those old 4000's and the Constructors/Autocars. Good job.

I've got a friend over in Bannockburn, Victoria that just restored an International Transtar cabover.

That Roadboss with the K19 must be something eh! :D

  3. post-2303-1208217858_thumb.jpgpost-2303-1208218101_thumb.jpgHere's a pic of one of the old R Models I drove. I worked for this company quite a few years before starting my own business. It is a 1988 and is still going today. We used to work construction in the summer and haul salt all winter (which is why the box paint looks so rough in these pics.) They had a large fleet of all :mack1: and these trucks all had over a million miles pulling heavy 140,000+ pounds gross. This truck had to have the motor replaced (due to a past driver running it out of oil when a bolt come out of the block), and according to a Mack rep it was the last new E6 350 to come off the assembly line. It pulled real strong after some pump work :D While at this company I also drove in previous years, another R tractor with a Mic Mac bunk that looked the same as this truck, and a 450 and 500 Superliners, and a 500 V8 Ultraliner cabover. I love the sound and power of the E9 V8 (all their trucks had straight pipes) but for some reason I really loved this R model.

A funny story I remember was when running one of the tuned up Superliners with the 500 V8, grossing 63,500kg going up all the 8 to 12 percent grades passing tandem freight vans  They kept calling me on the cb asking why my lift axles were down  They thought I was empty. :thumb:

  4. Hello my name is Shawn. I'm a dump truck owner from Ontario, Canada. Mack has always been my favourite and this site is a dream come true. :D A place to talk :mack1: I currently own an International, due to wanting a little more power than what the 05 E7 460 had to offer and I didn't want a Cummins due to little dealer support in my area. But I am looking forward to an R Model or Superliner project in the future. So this site is just what I need to stay in the loop.

I've driven many Macks in the past such as R Models, Superliners, Ultraliners, CL's, CH's, and Granites.

They were dump truck/pony combinations and tractors with 5 and 6 axle dump and walking floor trailers. My favourites have always been the R with E6 350 and the Superliners and Ultraliners with the E9 500. post-2303-1208214428_thumb.jpg
