  4. Glad I moved out of that communist state 3 yrs ago. Now I live in Dixie, where they do things right. I'll quote Thomas Jefferson. " when the government fears the people, there is liberty, when the people fear the government there is tyranny "
  5. Thanks Paul. As far as I'm concerned, there is 1 truck to do the job, that is a Mack. .. lol.. Dave
  6. Thanks. I've always liked this pic since I was a kid. I never met my grandfather he died 1 month before I was born. You bet I would of asked him about driving an AB.....lol
  7. This is a pic of my Grandfather driving a AB. My mother told me that he used to bootleg alcohol from Canada to the states during prohibition .
  8. I'd hang that on the wall behind my bed,but I would probably be sleeping alone afterwards. Lol
  9. This F model my dad was driving for Boyle Bros. Medford,Nj. Blizzard of '78. Sorry about pic sideways, tried to fix
  10. My 2 cents. It's your truck,do wharves you like. It's your money, your truck, you gotta live with it. To me,I like old Macks done either way bone stock,or modernized (upgraded powertrain, airride, etc) as long as it's tastefully done. Some guys go overboard on chrome in everything, too much to polish. Personally I like Matt Phall's B,Joe Mustang H model. 2 old Dawgs upgraded to do work, both heavily modified but still classic look. I also like a good old chain drive AC,restored 100%.just my thoughts. .
  11. Thanks fellas, I'll have too dig up some pics of my old rides I used to own.
  12. Spencer used to have a Mack. Found this on line, showed it to one of his drivets, who showed it to Bill Spencer.
  13. I'm drooling over here. Lol that is a bad ass ride right there. Not overly chromed out, just tastefully decorated. .. me likey. ...
  14. Thought you'd like this. I worked for that small freight outfit in CT. He's a good friend of mine. He ran 2 U models, that one is a 69.the other was a 70. Both spec'd the same, 237 ,5 spds. The one pictured is an ex Rafferty Brown steel truck in Waterbury, CT. Got a few miles as a 14 yr old kid riding shotgun with my knees up to my chin, lol
  15. I'm new on here. But always loved Macks even owned a couple. Have to find pics.
