I spent some time on it yesterday. It had some rust stains. I got it pretty clean. I will probably be able to live with it as it is. The CH however, I will need to convert to steel.

I also have a CH613 tractor with a plastic bumper that I would like to convert to steel. Is that a big deal to do?

It has two holes for draw pins, and a slot under the tag. I have a picture, but don't know how to post it.

Where is the best place to buy a chrome bumper for my 1993 Superliner? What should I expect to pay? The one I have isn't terrible, but I'm re-doing this truck while I work it, and I want it to look sharp. - Tom

The EC is a very good thing! If we didn't have it, there would never be a Republican president again. If we elected our president solely on the popular vote, the candidates would only campaign in the big states and only in the city. Smaller states would be rendered irrelevant. The inner city vote is almost completely Democrat.

I would never say Carter is not a good guy. I would however say until the current occupant of the Whitehouse came along, Carter was going down in history as the worst president ever. Obama has clearly taken that title away from Mr. Peanut. I also think Carter's input into current events is not often of great value. - Tom -

My complaint (and I read where I'm not the only one who has experienced it), is when I am upshifting through the gears I can't pre select in 1st, or 2nd gear. The air shift will take place before I can move the stick, causing a violent down shift situation. I can go from 3H to 4L and up without difficulty. I saw on another thread on this forum where this is probably caused by the air supply to the shifter being too high. The other poster made reference to youtube videos, which I checked out, and found my situation is not the norm.

I have a 1997 CL 713 tri axle dump, with a 12 speed Mack trans. I did a search on 12 speeds and saw where you will have trouble on pre select shifts if air pressure is too high. I have exactly that problem. Where is the regulator in question.
