  1. It was only a matter of time at some point they were goi g to run out of good engine cores anyway couldnt last forever
  2. The early e7 's 1990-1998 are in my opinion the best engine mack ever made , along with the e9 of course
  3. I agree put this grill on a chu stretch the hood of it and bingo you have a superliner 3 offer the mp8 and cummins x15 or a (scania v8 ) 😉
  4. Yes most only need 13L but i read somewhere that half of all american class 8 trucks sold today still have a 15L engine so mack is only competing for 50 % of the total market ,no wonder why they only are getting 5-6 % market share. .
  5. If those were available here at a competitive price theyd sell like. Hot cakes
  6. Heres a hannaford supermarkets anthem pulling doubles across the ny thruway -mass pike line
  7. The ones in those pictures above look different than american cl 's ,those aussie ones look to have a sharper drop to the hood and fenders look different . I have seen pics from new zealand that look just like american ones .
  8. Im from new england , when i was growing up in the 80s pete and kw were still pretty rare in logging and construction . Everybody had mack, international ,autocar, gmc, and ford ,wasnt til the mid-late 90s when paccars started to get popular now there everywhere
  9. Yeah everybody wants a pete or kw now days everything else is dirt in the united states as well
  10. Huh they can stuff a mp10 into a anthem ?
  11. Makes me sick every time i see an australian mack and then look at what mack offers here .😑
  12. Yeah i looked up the dealers near me and looked like wallingford ct is only dealer in new england ?
  13. I hope they make more versions of this so i can get one next truck.
  14. Looks promising i could see this setup on a granite dump truck if the charge will last a 12 hour shift could be pretty good if its reliable .
  15. In the late 90s when cat started offering 475-550 hp and pete, kenworth ,international ,freightliner, ford, western star started having those big power trucks right on the lot competing against macks 350-460 hp trucks it was over for mack , plus mack onlyofferd sloped nosed models no classic look truck , the reliability slipped i think mainly because they were trying to compete with 15 liters with a 12 liter . I also dont know why mack dealers havent revolted against volvo and told thwm what they need to compete especially i the northeast where mack was dominant . I dont get it.
  16. 12-13 liter is all most need but most want 15-16 liter even if only hauling 70-80k gross. I know alot of dump truck guys running 70k lbs with 550 cats and cummins , yes overkill but they want that power
  17. It looks ok but i was hoping for a more square look .
  18. Looks promising from what they've been posting , could be something good , a company rising from the ashes that the swedish overlords burnt down
  19. Looks like autocar is maybe debuting a new old school look conventional at the waste expo nest week , they have been teasing on their fb page
  20. Hope the guy that bought clints CL treats her good , for anyone that doesnt knkw that yellow Cl top picture is a v8 original owner ranit 20 years good guy He just retired and sold it
  21. Ive been hauling alot of pulpwood to ip in ticonderoga ny i like pulling in to the yard in my titan in a sea of w900s and western stars . Nice to be different.
  22. ,Be intersting to see what this truck will be , if its a euro cabover with a bulldog on the front itll flop . If its a conventional with american dna it might be ok
  23. Must be a paccar thing because our w900 has a dummy stack on the left side
  24. Ive been talking with them on and off the past year , id like a nice simple glider from them , we'll see what happens
