  1. Today is the 1st Anniversary of the new BMT format! I hope everybody is finding the forums easier and more fun to use! If you have any suggestions...please, post them here or email them to me! We are always open to improvements! Hopefully, by this time next year we will have well over 1000 members!
  2. The ratios should be stamped on the top of the carrier where the part number is...I can also look it up if you get me the model and vin off the truck (if the rears are original) otherwise, you'll probally have to dig into it and get numbers off the ends of the ring & pinion gears. Then we can work from there. It is hard to find new parts...you may have to find good used stuff to change the ratios...
  3. Indeed...nice find...they look pretty complete too!
  4. http://www.oldmacksrus.com/Adobe_Pdf's/B-Model_Cabs.pdf Still a PDF file, but it may work like this for you...
  5. Nice lookin R you got there! Welcome to BMT! You came to the right place... I am sure there are lots of used parts links some other members can give you...I mainly deal with new parts if you ever need any. But one thing for sure...advice is always free here at BMT!! Were here to help!! Enjoy...

  8. I'm staying outta this one! LOL We are sometimes guilty of this also. But most of our local customer base has in house charge accounts and they usually never have to pay out cash for the 2nd time charge. We just put it on their account and then credit it when we get credit. It is due to Mack's policy because they demand invoices for replacement purchases. We can't return it without an invoice. Like Thad said, customer misuse is a big problem. We can't give out a part then not be able to get reimbursed from Mack because they said it was broken by the user. We try to be fair, but it usually comes down to Mack and their vendor experts who determine the warranty issues. I don't think this is the case with Mack Dealers only...I bet that if the NAPA Alt was bad out of box...they would also want to bill you for a new one until they got credit for the defective one.
  9. Dale, thanks for posting...this could be very helpful to users in the future...can you also post some photos? I would love to see your A/C setup between the seats...
  10. You can get a whole tune up kit for your Jake, also...it includes the orings, springs and all those little parts that tend to make a Jake not work right!
  11. Thanks for the update, Jim! It was a great show! We were happy with our location...everything worked out good! Just let us know as soon as we can register for next year.

  17. Well, I took the kids to see the movie Yesterday! It was really cool! MACK the 1985 Super-Liner had a pretty big role and lots of screen time! It was cool to see the Mack script on the side of the hood and even the Bulldog on the hood! Good job Disney/Pixar! I give it 2 thumbs up! Even for an animated movie...take the kids and go see it!! You'll be glad you did.
  18. Lookin good, Jeff!! Well Done!! Keep those pics coming!
  19. Try NAPA...the number you need is 1237 (or Wix 51237) I've been trying to get some made but no luck so far...

It is hard to get away for longer due to the Mack Dealership (we have to keep our local customers in mind also! ) But if you need something from our selection...plan on anytime Saturday! At least stop by and say hello! See Ya There!
  21. We will be there, Fred...be sure to stop by our booth and say Hi! See ya all there...
  22. Again this year, employees at the New River Valley Plant in Dublin, Virginia, where all Mack highway products are produced, paid tribute to this country’s fallen and missing heroes by participating in the Rolling Thunder® – Ride for Freedom event in Washington, DC. Working with the Veteran’s Committee of the United Autoworkers Local 2069, the men and women of NRV produced a very special Mack Vision™ model featuring a collage of images reflecting the cost of freedom associated with all wars. The truck served as a rolling color guard for a group of over two hundred Dublin-area motorcyclists who left the New River Valley plant for our nation’s capital on Saturday, May 27th to join thousands of others in the annual Memorial Day weekend Rolling Thunder® – Ride for Freedom parade honoring those killed or still missing in action.
