Extra Small has been battling a particularly nasty round of the croup, which was so bad earlier last week that it almost made Mommy the Nurse run her to the Emergency Room. That didn't happen though. But she was still getting over it, so I had to do the responsible parent thing and opt out of going to the show. (Mommy works weekends, so I have all of the kids.) My dad was there with Bob Gabrick, so I got to see some good pics.

I'm not exactly sure where it is broken, I did not take the pictures. Helping out my brother-in-law who is involved with this thing. I don't know if the folks are that handy to be able to do something like that. I certainly am not getting involved other than this post and several on FB....I have enough projects that I dont already have enough time for.....LOL -
Desperately seeking a parking brake assembly like the one pictured which has snapped due to metal fatigue. Does anyone know if this assy is exclusive to Ford? It kinds looks Budd-Cab specific so I am assuming that it may be Ford specific. This is for one of the "Pink Heals Tour" breast cancer awareness firetrucks. If it could be donated the owners of the rig would be grateful as they have limited funds. If anyone has one or a line on one, any assistance is appreciated.

The 3408 Pete was owned by Harry Muschlegel, built by 2 former Jevic mechanics. And the 3408 is not the tractor number, either.....LOL
