INDOORS And if storage falls below freezing, you absolutely, positively MUST MUST MUST winterize the pump. Get yourself an extra discharge cap, set it up in a drill press and drill a 1/2" hole through it, then tap and thread it to accept a threaded nipple. Then a quarter turn valve with a male air chuck. Open ALL discharges, intakes, pump and tank drains. Drive the truck around a few miles to slosh around any standing water. Get back to the shop, close everything. Put your modified cap on a discharge, and open that discharge valve, Hook up an air hose to the chuck, and using the quarter turn valve, let in small amounts of air at a time as you open each and every discharge and intake drain valves. This will push out any remaining standing water. When you are all done, leave every valve and drain open the duration of the winter storage. That way if there is still any standing water in it, it will have a place to go if it freezes and expands.

Yes that's it. You don't have to use the liquid that comes with it- I have had good luck with a spray bottle of water with a few spoonfuls of dish soap. Do it in the shade or when the metal surfaces are cool. Have plenty of microfiber towels handy and beer of course.

Food on site: The Macungie Fire Dept does breakfast sandwiches in the morning and burgers/dogs for lunch. There are also a few other food vendors. Out on Main Street, there is a decent Diner and a pizza place both right across the street from the main entrance.

I used a Maguiar's clay bar on an old firetruck with faded paint like that and then compounded, and finished with a spray ceramic wax...my god it was like new.

There are several options. 1. Macungie Fire Department charges $5.00 to park at their lot. All the money goes to their firefighting operations fund. 2. The Boy Scouts run a parking lot off of Main Street, I think it's $5.00. A good cause. 3. Many private residences along Walnut Street allow you to park in their driveways and yards for a few bucks. 4. Street parking where available. Pay attention to signs, you will get ticketed if you violate. Stick to the residential neighborhood off of Walnut Street. We are not ATHS. We are ATCA!!! There are NO entrance fees for spectators!!! The only fee is to enter a truck into the show!!! Check your private messages!!! And don't forget to meet at the Watts Mack Tent at 12:00 on Saturday for the BMT group picture!!!!!

So Bob, since I was born and raised in Philadelphia, I am somewhat of a Hoagie (what we call subs) and cheesesteak SNOB, and I can tell you that there are no good subs or hoagies in the Lehigh Valley. The closest decent cheesesteak is Carl's in Bethlehem and I am pretty sure that I sent Other Dog there last year and he enjoyed it.

If you are staying at the hotel at 78 and 100 again, you need to try the Hops Fogelsville Inn, right near the hotel if you are staying at the hotel I think you always stay at. The Alburtis Tavern is always good, over on the other side of the Mack Plant. The Buckeye Tavern is good, located within walking distance of the Park but it is almost always crowded during Macungie. Getting further away, if you want some traditional Hungarian food, Paprikas on Main Street in Hellertown is awesome. If you have a hankering for Scottish/Irish food, Braveheart Highland Pub in Hellertown is very good as well (it may be within eyesight of the FWD Hellertown Field Office.) Another good Scottish/Irish place is McCarthy's Red Stag Pub in Bethlehem. Greek Food- Yianni's Taverna 3760 Old Philadelphia Pike in Bethlehem (stones throw from 378) Mexican- I highly recommend Torre in the Promenade Shops (big outdoor shopping center) 2960 Center Valley Parkway in Center Valley. Awesome Mexican food.
