If the parts are worn ..how much would mack charge for the rebuild kit?

I believe I saw no lines air lines coming from the power divider. .except a couple of them that I think operate the brakes...if I do have automatic lockin diffs...how reliable is that system?

Hi guys , im sure this topic has been thrown around but I would like to get feedback on my new purchase(truck in avatar).I want to know if it has self locking diffs.i don't see a switch on the dash and is imperative that I have a good mud truck since I do a lot of off-road.the truck is equipped with electronic 350 coupled to a maxitorque 9 speed.im not sure about the rear end ratios.i bought it because I believe this is a great set up for what I do.Please feel free to comment and any feedback is greatly appreciated.vin is 1M1P267Y3TM027360.

Yea thats what the guy at my local dealership said...he quoted me for $ 1536.fortunately i found a used one for $800 at the salvage yard...shes up and runnin now..im glad there is a great deal of comercial parts here in houston..i couldnt have afforded one of my trucks to have been out for more than one month...thanks a millipn for ur assist mackpro68..in the future i would contact u for info regarding this matter if i run into issues again...

hey guys thought I give an update.the engine computer was fried..i plugged in another computer and she fired right up...now looking for a used computer for a 96 427...

Batteries are good. Truck cranks strong when I turn the key. I went to the yard and tried the set button from cruise control and nothing happened. Also could it be the unit pumps and how do I know if my engine has them..?

also , one of the mechanics messed it and now the headlights wont turn off.so I have to unplug the batteries to prevent draining (even when I had to recharge them like 5 times this week due to cranking. & the starter has taking a beating too.)

ok will check this out once I get to the yard in the morning.i hope its nothing serious. its been sitting a week like this already.

hi , my 96 ch613 is not firing .it cranks and starts with starting fluid but it wont stay on.it cranked the day before and when I came in the next morning it cranked but wont start..the lightening bolt in the dash comes on so Im guessing the computer its all right.the injector lines have been bled and still nothing.3 mechanics have come and could not get it going.IF ANYONE HAS ANY INSIGHT PLEASE HELP!!
