  1. Actually there's a joke with it, but i can't remember how it fully goes. Everyone at work has been jokin about gettin their camels instead of their "Economic Stimulus Checks" or whatever....inside joke someone started i guess, kinda funny.

Whenever Obama was elected wonder if someone said "Damn we're in a tight spot"....lol

  2. A cook shed sounds like a good idea.

I could do one off the end of my barn at home,

pretty close to the back door.

I've got an old gas grille that I was thinking of

converting to a rotisserie. Along with the regular

gas grille and the charcoal grille, they would pretty

well fill up a cooking shed.

I'm just thinking of a lean-to roof to keep the rain

and the snow off. Maybe with a light too, although

the light won't really help the quality of the food too much.

Nothing will except a new cook.

Got one of the 16' long rack sections assembled and

lifted into place today. It will sure be nice to get all of

the parts and stuff off the floor.

Joe - how's the family? Probably growing like crazy!

They are doin great Paul, the boys turn 1 on tuesday. We already had their party due to work and everything else it seemed like. Thanks for asking.

  3. A white christmas would be nice for once, but hopefully there won't be too much snow on whenever you get the b-67 out. Kinda wish I had a big enough shop for racks and such. I'm gonna get me a storage shed for the 4 wheeler, lawnmower, etc. I have one open side then half of another, but need the room for my detroit motor for the swap into the ford. Have a good one bud....

  4. Sounds like your having luck like Bulldog Man. At least your alright. Insurance companies are always fun to deal with, They love for you to pay them, but when it's their turn to pay it's hell......I love those 3406's too bad it's no a manual pump motor, those cats would run liked a raped chicken on acid, when you turn he fuel to 'em. Have a good one....

  5. Sounds like a pretty decent week, except for the tire deal. Not bing mean, but that's how they usually do women take the full advantage. 110.00 a tire, you should get a road hazard warranty, gold members card, free balancing every month.....should i go on? Kinda glad we don't have to go through inspections down here, some people really need there cars inspected, but my little truck would be hard to pass, the suburban would pass ok i believe. How often do they have to be inspected?

  6. Man, there is nothing like a computer to make you feel

totally helpless. At least at my level of expertise.

But it's even worse, I'd say, if someone is doing damage

    to his friend's equipment.

And - he's probably laughing about it too!

Sound like we ought to put out a warning - that we

could be marching on Tennessee real soon!

    PVS

I don't know about the warning part- he's probably filling sand bags like mad and piling them around his house now!

Probably can't find any pork and beans, bottled water, or ammo anywhere in Lafollette now, so he can withstand a long siege.

Me and the boys have been workin all day on it....We acually have an army surplus store so i'm set. Guess i'll have to draft Bulldogman as my backup & don't forget about the potted meat also. Crazy part was Otherdog used his webcam saturday, I bought one sunday, then his stopped working mon.. I told him i used the sneak attack, navy seals type stuff.......To Be Continued

  7. I went through a similar problem last week, with my e mail. It worked fine for over 3 years, the one day it wouldn't work. After fooling with it for almost a week, I finally called the server. I had to add the word Pop to the out going account. After 3 years the dang computer just couldn't stand it any more. I didn't know that a computer could hold a grudge against you. It must have been made in W. Va., or somewhere around Lafollette Tn.

Easy now James, I'm having computer troubles myself.....Possibly from Otherdog

  8. That is a good observation. For all of the strutting, posturing, and braggadocio. it appears that many people are not willing to call a turkey a turkey. It doesn't matter what color it's feathers are, if it looks like a turkey, walks like a turkey, and gobbles like a turkey, it's probably a turkey. I like turkey, but I would never have one over for dinner without first holding it's feet to the fire.

Besides turkey season approaching, it ginseng season "actually no season for it" just everyone is on the look for it. Good point James.

  9. Too bad about the emeryville, good score on the wheels though. Flexpipe should work fine. I say you would pay a pretty good price if you could find a piece with the right bend

yeah, that's what I was thinking. Hate to take the easy way out,but it's probably my only choice. Well,I must be off to Chattanooga.

Sometimes the easiest fix is the best at the time. Have a good trip, well actually at this point you are probably somewhere else. Better yet have a good week...

  10. It's just cloudy here at work, and that is a nice looking truck. Excatly what I need to fill in the rest of my property. Not a bad price for the ol' girl.

that's what I thought-you should jump on it!

I'm spent like last weeks paycheck. I found a '78 r-model dump and a 80's model Mack. I delivered to a job site and the owner told me he would work out a deal with me. I would like to have another r-model like my last one. His '78 has a 6 speed, jake, and drop axle. I might call about the 'ol girl. Thanks buddy.....

  11. Good looking freightliners James. I always liked both those style freightliners, I always wanted one like the truck Rick Yemm drove in the 1st season of ice road truckers. Sounds like you done good on the T-800 though. I've heard the story about the Mack, but always good to hear it again in my opinion. I can set and listen to old truck stories, or new anytime. My uncle charles drove truck for almost 50 yrs. so he can tell some good stories. Have a good one fellars....
