  1. The Allentown-produced Mack F-model was offered with black painted steel or chrome steel battery box covers, but never aluminum.

However having said that, the MH/RWI aluminum battery box covers (32MK4195M) can be directly fitted to F and R/U/DM models. If you want bright finish, then 32MK4195M2.

Ok you know your battery box covers. What battery box cover fits a Cruiseliner? R model covers wont fit, not long enough.

  2. I still have the order sheet from our local Mack dealer when we spected an MH in 89 for a 90. One of the options was an E7. Didn't end buying the truck as we couldn't "agree" on how the truck should be spec. So yes the E7 at 400 hp was an option

  3. The rule of thumb is the less height and as few 90's in the fuel line the better. Now that being said, A lot of new trucks have a fuel water separator mounted up on the firewall. Higher than the valve covers! So most anything will work. Just keep this in mind when planning that the less "restrictions" the better.

  4. You probably have an air operated "slave" valve back by the air leveling valves. Yes you need air to make it dump. As to why you don't have air at the dash valve is odd. Follow the supply line back to a source. You need at least 60 lbs of air in order for it to work. Now you may have a different set up but im betting that youre Neway is air Slave valve to make it dump

  5. A good thing to do is install a boost gage. Then any modification you do will show. If you dont see any gain then you'll know, try something else. Im not sure on a Mack engine but a B.C. Cummins for every 2 lbs of manifold pressure amounts to around 22 h.p. So you can see what your adding for power, also mileage
