  1. Maybe you have done this already but in case you haven't. A lot of Detroit powered trucks had a tire valve stem drilled into the fuel cap. That way you could pressureize the tank to push fuel up to the engine. Becareful not to put to much pressure. We have a 84 8V92 silver that is mean to get going if you run her out of fuel. Just a thought. Hope it helps

  2. Walters are cool! I hauled one out of NY a few years ago that had a blower on it. The engine for the blower took up the entire back of the truck. It was powered by a V8 Leroi 2002 cubic inch!!! The man who sold it told me that he use to run it for the county. The exhaust was 4 in long. It sounded great. I had a 56 Walters. The only true 4 wd. Good score. If you think you may want to part with her let us know

  3. Ok folks here it is. The BIG question. LOL. Im trying to settle a debate with friends on adding extra non factory lights to a classic clean truck. Now I like "chicken" lights as much or more than the next guy. BUT. If you own a clean unmolested truck should you leave it alone or personalize it? My last new dropdeck had 32 marker lights that I had installed at the factory. I like lights but I also like a clean unmolested truck. Throw in youre 2 cents

  4. If im not mistaken, Which I have been known to be wrong before, the ex told me that. 83 MH's came with single round headlights. After that you could order them but 4 square was the norm. Also, as far as I know 83 was only a half year for the MH. If someone knows otherwise please let me know

  5. When I pulled the drain plug in oil pan I found 1 side of a valve keeper. Truck just cam in from an 1,400 mile run and sounds good. Do I start by pulling rocker covers or just plan on pulling heads? Would like to find out which head its from. :tease: Im just discouraged at the moment
